I used to come here all the time when I lived nearby, but went recently and found out that ownership and management is new, and they bake their own bread on a regular basis. The server took our order, then came back a few minutes later to tell me that bread had been baked earlier that day and flour was likely to be present, so we just had our drinks and got food elsewhere. I’m very grateful for the honesty, but sad I can no longer eat here!

Not celiac safe, told waitress I had celiacs and she brought my meal out w croutons and laughed and said “watch out!” Was kind of bummed too because I’ve been looking for a new bar

This is one of my favorite places to go in Bellingham! The owner and wait staff understand celiac and gluten sensitivity and are very nice about it. I have never gotten sick here and have been here probably a dozen times. Amazing food and they even carry a GF beer!

The owner is celiac and friendly and they understand cross-contamination. Not everything is GF, but they do a good job of letting you know their process. Dedicated tap for cider.
Many gluten free options! Fryerless kitchen & most items are made in house so they were very accommodating. Buns for burgers, GF soups & great seafood & oysters. The Boar Leg Rueben & fresh fish tacos were spectacular!
