I absolutely love coming here! As a broke college student, I love how affordable the food is and for such a high quality experience. So much of the menu is gluten free (and labeled as such), I ate here with my mom who is way more sensitive to cross contamination than I am and she felt totally fine!

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, it’s quick and it’s simple, but it’s so good. I highly recommend the empanadas, especially the chicken one.

As usual, had a tasty, safe meal here. I messaged them about claims of adding wheat flour to their recipes and they said they were false, otherwise they couldn’t be gluten free! They also reassured me that should anything change they would remove the gluten free labels.

According to the staff, they started adding “a little wheat flour” to some of their menu items. Now nothing’s safe. Took my celiac friend and realized too late, and we both got glutened. Shame on this establishment for pulling a stunt like this after building a reputation in the GF community, and all its “Gluten Free” marketing, signs, and wrappers.

Easily the best empanadas we've ever had. The dough was delicious and then you get to the filling and you're blown away. They do have a dedicated fryer and we haven't had any reaction looking forward to going back as soon as possible. Staff was very friendly.

I like that most of the menu is naturally gluten free. It seems they could do more in the way of fresh vegetables. But if you are craving something fried, I believe they have a dedicated fryer. They also have this delicious lemonade made with piloncillo which is cane sugar. The person who told me about it thought it would not appeal to American consumers, but I loved it.

This place was wonderful! Everything on the menu is gluten free except one thing, so I would just ask about that when ordering. I had the bean and cheese empanada, as well as the cheese and potato and both were delicious. 10/10, would eat here again.

Best food in salt lake, hands down. The steak was so perfect, the empanadas were incredibly crisp and soft, and it was incredibly safe to eat. It was a bit expensive, the prices on the menu online are not accurate, but way worth it.

Fantastic lunch experience after a long morning of traveling! My husband and son have celiac. My husband and I had the beef arepas abs our son had 2 empanadas (chicken abs ham abs cheese). We were all completely blown away by how amazing the food was. And everything on the menu except one item is gluten free. A really special place!

We ordered an Arempas, a cachapa and an empanada and shared them. Everything was really good. I felt good about all the measurements taken to avoid cross contamination. They cook nearly 100% of their menu with corn and have dedicated fryers.

I figured this was too good to be true. I asked the cashier if the empanadas were fried away from the gluten and he said yes. I ordered the chicken avocado salad arepa and the black bean cheese empanada and I got sick. 🥺

We were in a month ago for the first time and had the empanadas and sauces. They were delicious. The staff behind the counter told me the only thing that wasn't GF was the fried cheese.

We went in again today and a different staff member told me the avocado and garlic sauces are not GF, that only the chimichurri is GF. I don't know who to believe, but I'm left dealing with the guilt and anxiety of having fed that that to my young child with celiac.
