They call their menu “gluten freedom”. They state their daughter is gluten free and “they get it.”

I haven’t had a that good of a burger in a very long time. They offer more than one choice of bread for their sandwiches.

It is not clear if the staff have any special training for allergy food handling. I have eaten here many times without issue. It’s a bit odd that your choices for gluten free slices bread are white and wheat! I often try to correct them to say multi-grain instead of wheat. Once had a long conversation with one of the managers about the bread. Definitely GF and they seem to care. But I would have to say go at your own risk.

The grinder sandwich is awesome!

Had a lot of GF to choose from. Delicious Cobb Salad. They seemed knowledgeable about CC. I’ll be back! (Plus fun music and ambiance too!)

Dedicated toaster and a nice selection! Their website says there is some chance of contamination due to human error, but they seem to get it. No reactions so far.

The West Chicago location's absolutely rude as can be. The manager there is by far the rudest. They say that they're knowledgeable about gluten allergies but they're not. I'd go somewhere else instead of this one.

same for both locations. staff is not friendly and doesnt respond or answer well.. they prepare food out of sight, so idk.. but I haven't gotten sick. good food.. good bread.. sandwich and sub.. but it doesn't cover the entire sandwich. i like the food but I'd pick somewhere else if there were more options

Hands down favorite place! Even here often and never had an issue. The flourless chocolate cake is amazing too!

The knowledge and quality of the food is not consistent. Sometimes they understand gluten free and sometimes they kind of flake out about it and have to be reminded. The sandwiches are not as good as they used to be. Sad...

Had a gluten free Italian sub so good

Staff was not friendly about the gluten free option, or very knowledgeable. Nothing on the menu board suggested GF was an option, it was majorly secretive, and when I asked the gal seemed annoyed I wanted to see the menu. Would be nive to have safe side options to accompany a meal.

Italian grinder on gluten free roll!!

Augustino's carries Udi's for sandwiches, hot dog buns, hamburger buns and even pizza crusts! They also have sub sandwich rolls. They do not have a dedicated fryer for french fries. They are knowledgable enough to give you condiment packets rather than cross contaminating jars of condiments.

Gluten free burger wasn’t very good. Asked for the chips to be separated (as they are cross contaminated in the fryer) and they were served right next to the burger. Didn’t seem very knowledgeable about cross contamination and Celiac.

I have ordered their burgers on GF buns and they are good. Ask them to toast the bun. I’ve also ordered burger no bun and I’d wish they’d give me a little extra lettuce with that. The gf chocolate cake is good too.

There were several GF options. I had a burger on a GF bun. The bun was lightly crisped and delicious! Homemade chips were good too.
