After sitting down and talking to the waitress and going over the allergen book we decided not to eat here. No cross contamination precautions. Staff are not knowledgeable (just give you a book) and the book said the ingredients lists were from 2002! I was going to opt out of eating (hard no on this place) and let my family eat but my son has an egg allergy. I did not feel confident about our options or his safety. The waitress said that if she had our allergies she would not eat there. The waitress also warned that the compostable straws in the park are known to make people who are gluten free sick.
— Not at all
— No gluten-free information on the menu
— Not Much/None
Ask the host for a gluten free menu. They highlight the items you cannot order: fried chicken, corn pudding, Mac and cheese and maybe one other item. The waiter was very clueless about gluten free, wasn’t even aware of the gluten free menu. All we asked was that baked chicken and fried chicken were served separately to avoid cross contamination. It worked out in the end and food was good, but I didn’t feel the staff was trained at all.
