Review of Avatara Pizza

Had a great experience at the location in the NW. This pizza establishment is 100% gluten free so I felt safe eating there. I ordered the Maui and the champagne cheesecake and it was excellent. My husband had the T-rex and he enjoyed his as well. He has a nut allergy and I let them know when I ordered. Of their own volition they took extra precautions for him to make sure there was no cross contact. It was really nice that for once I was able to order anything with no special explanations (I still asked the questions). I will be going back here before I leave Calgary!

Avatara NW was so good I made a point to come back before my visit to Calgary was done. I had the Aristotle with the addition of Chicken and the Champagne Cheesecake. It was excellent! My husband who is not celiac but does have a nut allergy had the Trex and Tiramisu. They took his allergy seriously and made sure there was no cross contact. He thoroughly enjoyed his food and couldn't remember the last time he had pizza that good. All of the food in the restaurant is gluten free so it is nice to have unlimiited options! Because I am asymptomatic celiac I cannot say whether I was glutened or not but I feel very comfortable and confident with the food preparation and meal I was served. The service was above and beyond. I will be back next time I'm in Calgary :)
