My son was diagnosed with Celiac disease last year via endoscopy and blood panel. We have not dined out since in efforts to get him healthy. We stopped at Backwoods Brewery on our way to go camping last week and ordered a personal sized gluten free cheese pizza. The staff was super helpful and patient when I called and asked several questions about how they prepare their gluten free pizzas. I did ask if they would use a brand new-unused batch of pizza sauce and clean ladle to spread the sauce onto his pizza, only because I figure when they put sauce on gluten pizzas they might use the same ladle to spread the sauce on the gluten crust. They accommodated my request. They cook the GF pizzas on a metal pan so that it never touches the same belt as the other gluten pizzas. The staff did warn that they cannot guarantee all risk of cross contamination. I am unsure exactly how sensitive my son is but he ate the entire pizza and it’s been 5 days and has felt 100% fine. No symptoms. I appreciate the staff for taking the precautions and taking it seriously.

My 6-year old is celiac and enjoyed a pepperoni pizza on a gluten free crust. She said it was, "The best pizza she'd ever had!" Staff were very accommodating. While there is no separate kitchen, reflected in my 4-heart safety rating, staff changed gloves, used parchment paper in the oven, and clean utensils. The pizza was brought out separately and first. My daughter had no reaction and enjoyed a rare meal out! I ordered the Gorge bowl - it was delicious too! - and a cider they had on tap. I think as long as you communicate to your server, you'll be fine.

Fun casual vibe. Lots of outdoor seating. Dog-friendly. Delicious pizza! Standard gf crust but awesome topping combinations.

GF pizza is baked in the same oven with the rest of the pizza so I would not recommend. Had the Twisted Caesar Salad which was tasty but unremarkable.

Excellent gluten free pizza! They use the same crust that most places use, the kind that comes in its own tin. They don't charge an arm and a leg for it either. No gluten free beer, but they have wine! Also great salads and 2 apps that are gluten free as well. I've eaten there many times with out a reaction and I am pretty sensitive, but not celiac.
