They no longer have GF bbq. They said the sauce contains gluten.

I went to this restaurant based on the reviews here. While waiting in line I observed the employees and their actions. I had planned to confirm which items were gluten free before ordering, however what I saw made me extremely concerned about cross contamination and I didn't feel safe eating here.
The employees were wearing gloves. They did not change gloves in between orders (which includes touching the many bread products on the menu). They used their gloved hands to grab meat from the containers and to touch the meat while slicing (this is all with the same gloves that touched bread only moments before).
My point is that even if some of their food items don't contain gluten, there is a high likelihood that it has been cross contaminated. Even if they changed gloves prior to a gluten free order, the food is already unsafe due to cross contamination.
My husband is not celiac or gluten free, what he had tasted good.
I don't recommend this restaurant for celiacs.

Mustard and vinegar sauces were gluten free. All meats but ribs were gluten free. Baked beans, elote, and corn slaw were gluten free.
Prep person almost grabbed bread and put it on my plate, but I stopped him and told him no bread for a gluten allergy. He immediately changed his gloves before continuing with the order.
I called ahead and talked with the person who ended up taking our order. Was able to answer questions and said they can change gloves if needed. Meat is prepared in a cutting board and bread only gets placed in Togo containers or plates.

All of the meat is GF except the ribs. They have two sauces that are GF (vinegar and Carolina mustard sauce) and two sides (coleslaw and elotes) are also GF.
The owner was amazing. He even changed gloves before doing my order. He was very knowledgeable as well.

The brisket is amazing! Make sure to tell them you dont want bread with your meal.
The meat was excellent, some of the best barbecue and smoked meats I've had. All meat options are gluten free. Only have to avoid the bread (obviously), macaroni salad (of course) and cheesy potatoes (bummer :-(). AND you can go across the hall to eat and have a cocktail or cider.
