I called the restaurant to confirm if they have gluten free food and the process on how they make it. They reassured me that they are very couscous when it comes to making gluten free food. However I got to the restaurant and I ordered a be my burger I made sure to ask three times that’s it will be indeed gluten free.

Unfortunately, when the food came I didn’t think anything of it and tried the burger I ordered. But the waiter did not make sure it was a gluten free bun on my burger.

I ended up getting sick from the two bites I had. I was very disappointed in how they handled the situation.

The waiter had the kitchen remake the burger with a gluten free bun this time.

I took it home and tried it when I was feeling better it was an okay sandwich. Gosh I wish I didn’t have celiac disease and I wish I could eat gluten because I’m tired of try buns 😔

Overall, if you go there please make sure that the item given is indeed gluten free since they do look semi similar to the non gluten free food.

Update 7.31.19: been going somewhat regularly. Sadly gotten rid of most of the obscure meats which is the allure of the place and reason why I’m ok paying 25-30 for a gourmet burger. Still good though and no issues when I do eat there.

have a menu different than the ones all around the city. sad they got rid of the tapioca rice bun in exchange for the hemp milk bun but still tasty. Also great to have GF bacon at this location as well. brisket is delicious.

was told by the staff not to request to toast bun, since they send it through the same conveyor belt as the other wheat-based buns.

Amazing gluten free turkey burger.... so pleased

Our family and friends (a party of 8) went to Bareburger because my youngest who was recently diagnosed with celiac, had been there on a date the week before and loved it. Impressively, the first question our server asked after welcoming us was whether anyone has a food allergy. Burgers were very unique (you could choose one of theirs or build your own), and I had the Blazin' Cattle with beef, pepper jack, fried pickles, spicy fermented slaw, pickled jalapeños, green leaf, sriracha mayo, brioche bun. It was very flavorful. Others had everything from bison to chicken to veggie and were all very pleased. Service was great and place has a cool rustic vibe. My son is a senior at Stevens and that took 10% off the bill which was a very reasonable $133 + tip. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying different burgers! PS - while they can’t guarantee no cross contamination with gluten, my son (and many other Celiac customers I’ve read about on the Find Me Gluten Free app) report no issues with eating at the Hoboken location. MUST GO. The gluten free bun was so good i questioned if the bun was gluten free over and over again. I didn't get sick so it was!

BBB (Best Bison Burger) EVER! Lots of GF options. Dedicated fryers so all fries or GF. All sauces are labeled and staff is very knowledgeable. Love this place.

Had burger with so many GF topping wrapped in collard green. Was awesome. Their sauces are all GF and they have dedicated fryer so can get French or sweet potato fries. And good GF brunch options. I have celiac and was so nice to be worry free. Highly recommend !!

Fantastic food Huge salads that you can customize with any protein and ingredients. Gluten free cider usually on tap there (maybe call 1st to check that they have) Great service and awesome atmosphere. I've done many business meetings at Bare Burger Shakes,etc..

Stopped in after a volleyball tournament across the street— grabbed some take out, but had to order in person to let them know I am celiac (I feel it can easily be read over when ordering online)

It is so great to be told the three things that are NOT gluten free rather than the three things that are. Excellent fried chicken sandwich and fries. Their main fryer is the GF one. Good honey mustard sauce too. All sauces even teriyaki are GF.

Understood cross contact. My son has celiac got the gf nuggets and sweet potato fries. Everything was made in a gf frier. He said the food was delicious. The staff were very nice and took good care of us. I got a gf bun and it was soft and delicious. My son didn't get such at all. They also have non dairy options too.
