My favorite restaurant of all time. Service isn’t always great, but the food is worth it and I’ve never had any issues with being glutened from it - and I’m SUPER sensitive to it, too.

I called ahead to make a reservation and the lady on the phone went back to the chef to confirm that what I would order would be gluten free. We loved eating here and would definitely eat here again. I ordered the gluten free pineapple curry with chicken and my mother (also has celiacs) ordered the Pad Thai. We had the crispy rolls and fresh rolls for appetizers. Yum!!

Was very pleased! The server knew what was Gluten-Free. Her uncle has celiac so was very helpful. The menu is also labeled. Appetizers and main entrees. Very delicious Pad Thai!

Pros: The food is pretty good, and there are several gluten free choices.

Cons: The staff is usually uninformed and has to check on stuff, which slows down a "quick" lunch visit. They list the fried tofu as gluten free, but it's fried in common oil. I did have a gluten reaction from eating it.

Overall, Basil is a good option, but, if you have CD, you need to still be diligent and ask questions every time. Last visited early 2014.
