Ordered the baby gem salad with chicken. I was not super reassured that the server was aware of cross-contamination practices, however I decided to take a chance. In hind sight i should not have because after being told the dish was gluten free when I ordered it, I ended up having a reaction.

There aren’t that many options for brunch that are gluten free but the one I got was tasty. When I initially ordered I felt confident my server understood my requests and understood cross-contamination. But my food was brought out with several of the same dishes by a food runner and I was not reassured that it was gluten free and prepared with cross- contamination in mind so I asked the food runner to confirm with the chef. It caused some drama and arguing between the food runner and server but overall the chef remade my food, personally delivered it to me, and I did not have a reaction afterwards. I am glad I asked and I think this might just be a restaurant you really need to advocate for yourself but the chef seems to understand. They did take the cost of my food off the bill because I waited awhile which was nice!

Been here twice now and both times the servers had asked me if it was celiac when I told them I have a gluten allergy. Super knowledgeable and walked me through the menu both times. Did not have any reaction.

Most items on the menu can be modified to be gluten free, except for the fries and lemon chicken. I didn't feel 100% confident that our waiter understood cross-contamination, but the kitchen seemed to be taking the right precautions, and confirmed dishes were safe for me as they were brought out. I had the baba ghanoush (with fresh veggies instead of pita bread), grilled chicken kabobs, stuffed dates, mushroom salad, roasted beats, and scallops. The food was very good.

Very few items on the menu that are GF but enough to have an amazing meal. Knowledgeable and accommodating staff. Would go again. A whole bunch of stairs. Not a complaint but if you are with someone with any trouble with stairs this is not the place for you.
