I asked how they did with gluten allergy and the young fellow got the manager. She came out and asked how severe. I told her extremely severe. She then explained to me her process of preparing my ice cream. She told me that she would wash her hands, and grab the clean scoop that was in a container for allergies. She then explained that she would need to get the ice cream from the back unopened container. She then let me know my choices of ice cream that were unopened and gluten free.

The manager has a special allergen scoop that is sealed and away from everything else. She had a new person and trained them while serving me: (it is very important to wash your hands, really really scrub them, glove up, do not take ice cream from the top because something with uten may have touched it.

This place and the staff was amazing! They went in back to get ice cream that was not cross contaminated and wash their hands and used fresh scoops without even being asked. They did all this with a smile and offered to do so and even went to go look to see if the flavors we wanted were in the back. Amazing flavors! They even checked the salt water taffy and told us that was gluten-free… My daughter was very excited!

Staff where quite friendly.they have a laminated book with all ice cream and nutrition info. Hilland ice cream flavors. Staff where more than willing to use a clean scoop and even washed their hands and switched gloves for me.
