The owner, Dave is celiac and has great choices in his store. He has a large frozen and dry section of gluten free foods as well as to go items and your typical butcher offerings.

This place sets a whole new standard for the gluten free experience. The owner is celiac as soon as I mentioned I was celiac he took me on a tour through the shop pointing out all the amazing gluten free candies, baking supplies, frozen meals, sauces, imported European treats, and of course meat. The owner also explained all the safety precautions they take to prevent cross contamination. We ordered chicken strips and fries. These were literally the best chicken strips I have ever had and were even better because I felt safe eating them. I also really enjoyed the hot fresh GF mini doughnuts. This is a must stop if you are in Edmonton

Loved this place!! They are very very strict on preventing cross contamination. Owner and son are both celiac. They were also very great at showing me the dairy free food since I’m lactose intolerant as well.

It is amazing there and all the workers are so nice. I found many things that I would never thought would would be gf, and I was so happy. I definitely recommend this place. Not a lot of pre cooked food. They have really good donuts that are fried. They were the most amazing donuts I have ever had, gluten free or gluten.

I’ve ordered their chicken nuggets as well as chick strips and fries. Very good and cooked in a separate fryer. I am celiac and did not get sick. I think they contain eggs though.

Ben’s Deli is our go to place for gluten free European foods. The freezers with gf foods are clearly marked. If you not sure ask Dave ( he is the owner and also has Celiac)or any of his staff they are always happy to help and answer any of the questions you might have. The mini doughnuts are a favourite on Saturdays when they make them.

The owner himself if celiac and is constantly looking for new companies with new gluten free foods. Staff is always super friendly and the food is amazing! Not only do they have an amazing selection of frozen gluten free food, they have meats and dedicated gluten free take out items such as sandwiches, fries/poutine, and even MINI DONUTS!!!!

The store has numerous GF pantry items and also has a dedicated fryer in their deli to make fresh food to dine in or take out.

First off, they sell a ton of frozen and non-frozen GF food. Secondly, most of their meat is GF. Thirdly, they have a dedicated fryer to order chicken strips, fries and a bunch more. I had a delicious poutine here with chicken strips. The owner is celiac so he knows how cross contamination works.
