BEST PLACE EVER!! Only thing w gluten is the fried plantains. The “arepas” aka the corn flour (only chase with corn!!) bread that they stuff w cheese beans shredded meat of your choosing and other things! Make sure to try the Venezuelan version of guac (guasaca) and sour cream (nata) SOO good. And the hot sauce. Arepas are kind of like a sandwich /street food but way better and more Hispanic flavors

Delicious arepas, this is a staple for me when I am in the area. They have a variety of GF options, but check with the staff as everything is not GF.

I confirmed many times about gluten before ordering. Got violently ill after eating here and emailed them to ask if their marinade contains soy sauce. Ended up finding out that they use regular soy sauce for their marinade. Everything is cross contaminated for this reason. Very unaware of gluten here.

Super nice staff, food was made fast, fresh and tasted great! Problem is I did have a reaction while eating and I had to stop eating the rest. The staff did say it was gluten free but it’s probably the cross contamination.

Food was amazing but I felt sick shortly after eating here. I don’t think they changed gloves for me so if you do eat here, I’d be careful about ordering to avoid cross contamination as much as possible.

Staff were very clear on what was safe and not, asked me if I was Celiac, and changed gloves. The plantains, as mentioned, are not safe and they have a few wheat items on the menu. I’m not sure I would aim here if looking for dairy-free options.

Plantains are NOT gluten free. That's half the fun of most of the arepas.

Great spot. Knowledgeable and made suggestions if options chosen has ingredients has possible contamination like the fried plantains as they don't have a dedicated fryer.

Great lunch spot in the loop. The staff is very knowledgeable and arepas are made from cornmeal, so a great GF option! I was super excited to find this place. It just recently opened, but seems to have a good flow of customers.
