We tried to eat here this morning and then menu is marked that it is safe for dietary preference only. The waitress checked with the kitchen to be sure and they reiterated that there is high cross contamination risk in the kitchen. Disappointed but I am glad they are so up front about it. The coffee is good though!

Menu and staff have clear information and accommodations for gluten free diet and celiac.
Would recommend! It’s always a good piece of mind when the server and menu list what May or may not be cross contaminated.
Of course I always leave a note with the server that I’m celiac.

While I appreciate they offer gluten free bread, I was highly highly disappointed. The server had no knowledge of anything GF, and the manager stated opposite information from what their separate allergy list states, but only did it through the 14 year old waiter and didn’t even bother to come talk to me. I ended up ordering the GF French toast and chicken sausage. 3 pieces of COLD Schar bread that was beyond bland with no spice. Could barely taste any egg on it. It seriously seemed like they precooked it, then stuck it in the freezer and barely thawed it. The chicken sausage was okay but too spicy and spicy wasn’t listed on the description. After tax and tip and only drank water my bill was over $16. I should have driven a bit further to The Root Cafe and I will definitely not be going back.

Gluten free bread available. The staff was very knowledgeable about gluten free! I got the gf French toast, and the waitress told me they would use their separate batter with no cross-contamination. The gluten free French toast was really delicious! I will definitely be back!

BBB has a menu listing foods that are safe for dietary restrictions. They have GF bread you can sub for sandwiches or toast with breakfast. They use a separate part of the grill and have a separate container of French toast dip in the kitchen. They do warn it may not be safe for celiacs because of the risk of cross contamination.
