Y’all I almost cried… I had gluten free cream of crab soup and the platter with crab cake, scallop, and shrimp. It was the most amazing gluten free food I’ve had since I was diagnosed 6 years ago.

Separate gluten-free menu lists more than average number of options for dinner. I tried the crabcakes; they are good size portion, but not as tasty as they should be. Sweet potato Mash is a good portion but mine was a little stringy. Stay away from the roasted mushrooms. They are gluten-free but taste kind of strange.

Fantastic gf menu. Food was brought out by a different server who announced that it was gluten free. I definitely felt safe eating here and thought that they took adequate precautions. Definitely a plus, especially on vacation!

Excellent experience. They had a separate GF menu for me to order from. My appetizer and meal come out earlier than everyone else’s and from a different server who announced that my meal was GF. Get very comfortable ordering from here. (Food was also amazing!) They offer allergy free menus that include : gluten free, garlic free, egg free, dairy free, shellfish free, and vegan- not many options on vegan)

Edit- came back July 2023. Food was amazing, delicious and amazing staff. Manager came out to tell me he told The kitchen about the “gluten allergy” and he brought out my food! (Seafood pasta was amazing !!!)

Loved it here. They have lots of options and even a separate menu for gluten free items. I was able to have the gf seafood pasta and did not have issues. Staff was knowledgeable and considerate to my needs. Nice meal after being at the beach all day. Along with gf entrees, they have dedicated gf desserts and starters.

The staff is very knowledgeable. There was plenty of GF options! Food was incredible I got the big fish seafood of the day which was gf penne pasta in a lobster sauce with an assortment of different kinds of seafood in it. My wife got the fish of the day which was Alaskan cod and sides and she loved it. Definitely will be back to this place Also the manager brings the allergen friendly food out which is always reassuring

Great, expansive gf menu. My 10 year old daughter and I enjoyed the calamari appetizer, seafood pasta and key lime cup for dessert. Everything was delicious and the service was great. We order regularly from Big Fish Market next door, and I didn't realize how many lunch options are available at Big Fish Grill. They may have the best GF menu we've seen in Southern Delaware including a kids menu.

Took gf very safe! Had manager come over to check on my food. Had the spicy Mayo poke tuna bowl and then the seafood pasta dish over gf penne for my entree. This was one of the best gf pasta dishes I ever had in a restaurant. Plenty of clams, mussels, salmon. White fish, shrimp. Will come back. No reactions. They flagged me as a Celiac and my food was delivered by the manager.

Great food and great service. Waitress was very knowledgeable and we felt safe with our order. Celiac daughter ordered crab legs and husband ordered blackened salmon. Would definitely go back. Make sure to go early they get very busy around 5:30. We went around 4:00 and not too busy.

It was excellent food. My non gf husband thought the gluten free food was great. We got an amazing seafood pasta and so many options to choose from. Definately recommend and they made sure the gluten free food came out separately and stated allergy.

I was diagnosed with celiacs 10 years ago, to date this is one of the places where I feel the most comfortable eating. Staff is knowledgeable and manager goes over everything with you. There are several gluten free options on the menu including pastas and crab cakes. 10/10 would recommend!

They have a number of “allergy” menus: gluten free, dairy free, egg free, garlic free, and vegan. The wait staff explained that when an item is ordered off an allergen free menu, they have to tell the manager who tells the chef and then the manager delivers that plate to the table.

This was truly the BEST dining experience I've had since going gluten-free three years ago. Because I don't have celiac, I typically simply adjust the menu when out to eat to be as gluten free as possible, and then deal with cross contamination and my inflammation later. This restaurant worked hard to make sure I didn't have concerns and took my allergy seriously. Staff was amicable and caring and food was AMAZING! I can't recommend this restaurant enough. It will definitely be one of my staples when in the area!!!!

They really went above and beyond to help me make my selections and also allow gluten to come to the table. All servers and managers were knowledgeable about gluten allergies. She told us the chain of command on how the chef speaks with management and to ensure that all food is prepared and kept away from other areas in the kitchen. No reaction and food was amazing. Loved my scallops and calamari (pan seared) can’t wait to come back!

I was very comfortable eating at this restaurant. The manger came out to talk to us about the safety procedures they have to make sure the food is gluten free. I didn’t get sick at all! They used different utensils and pots for the food

I got a rice bowl with salmon, clams, shrimp, and scallops. It was amazing. They have many options on their menu and even have gluten free dessert. We got the peanut butter cup and it was the best :)

Amazing experience. They have a GF menu with tons of options on it. Most of the fresh fish can be made GF and the crab cakes too. The manager checks in to confirm what was ordered and it is brought out separately. Will absolutely go back!

This was my fourth time here and after eating a quarter of the bowl, i found a NOODLE in my cioppino which i had asked to be made over rice!

They were very accommodating and kind about my request for 100% gluten free and no cross contact. Megan the manager hand delivered my meal to me. The food was delicious too!

Terrific experience. They have a gluten free menu and protocol in place. There is communication between the wait staff, manager and chef. No problems here!

The manager came out to confirm that all of our meals would be prepared separately. The crab cakes and peanut butter cup dessert were AMAZING. (Not just good for gluten free, actually amazing. The crab cake was almost all crab, not filler.) I felt like the prices were reasonable. My only regret was that we waited until our last day of vacation to go!

Incredible GF menu! The seafood chowder was some of the best I’ve ever had. Manager came out to check on us and verify everything was GF. We had mistakenly ordered potatoes that weren’t and she fixed it right away. They have GF selections for everyone from appetizers to entrees to dessert! We will definitely be back!

Celiac’s, do not skip this place!! The gluten-free menu is gigantic, so there is really something for anyone who has celiac disease. And if you want to have the best dessert in the area, go here. The peanut butter cup was literally one of the top 10 deserts I have ever had. The atmosphere is definitely family-friendly, but also a great place to take for a casual date. It has a chain restaurant feel, but is really nice.

I went to Arena's in Dewey and was told by the waitress they didn't have anything GF. I was very disappointed that I couldn't eat with my family but then I hoped next store to Big Fish Grill. They had a gluten free menu and I was able to get my steamed shrimp to go!

Sunday night dining in August. Short wait, very attentive service, excellent soup, blackened swordfish, shrimp, and amazing key lime pie and peanut butter pie (even in a GF version, which was fabulous). Superior service on the Gluten Free side. Large menu of choices, knowledgeable server, visit from the manager to explain how they prepare GF items (which I almost never get, let alone get without asking). Highly recommended!
