HOW CAN I GIVE ZERO STARs What used to be a Wonderful restaurant with gluten free options is now a celiac's risk! I am so MAD. The menu has 100% charged to only salad can be gluten free

— Not Much/None

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Poor

While the menu does have many items marked and available as “GF,” our experience, after several visits (including takeout), has been a complete lack of knowledge, amongst the staff, regarding serious dietary gluten requirements. This has resulted in misinformation as well as having to deal with the discomfort of gluten contamination on more than a couple of occasions. In my opinion, it’s just not worth the trouble, no matter how neat of a diner it is.

I love Big View Diner! Not only is the food great but the staff is so friendly, attentive, and always on top of their game. Even when it's packed on Sunday mornings! Kudos to them because that's not easy.

The Bakery is decadent. I melt at the smell of it when I walk through the doors!

The owners are wonderful. They have done an amazing job and running the Diner and the new menus are awesome!!

Nothing that we requested was actually gluten free. All foods are fried in the same fryer. Altough on the menu items like french fries are indicated as gluten free. However we ask and they told us that they fry chicken fingers, fried flounder, onion rings and other breaded foods in the same fryer as the fries. As a precaution we ordered simple grilled chicken and green beans. We even ask about what is cooked on the grill or griddle and were told everything is even if it is labeled GF. So we ask that the chicken be protected with foil to avoid contamination. The food arrived and was tasty. However after eating about half of it I discovered pasta noodle pieces in the green beans. Wait staff was completely uneducated in gluten free requirements. OMG.....nothing gluten free here. We were terribly disappointed and will never return.
