The employee that handled the brisket was great. The employee that handled my baked potato did not change his gloves, I asked him if he did and was ver my tongue tied.

This was my fifth time at Birddog. Highly sensitive celiac (12 years) I have never had a reaction here. The staff was knowledgeable and all the meats and sauces are gluten free. Fryer cross-contamination risk. Buns, Mac and cheese, and cobbler are gluten containing; but all are at the end of the service counter. As soon as I said celiacs the dudes changed cutting surfaces, knifes, and gloves to fresh to avoid any cross contamination. Food is stellar to boot.

We talked to the counter guy (maybe the owner?) at length about the food. They changed their gloves to serve us, just to be on the safe side. Almost everything is GF (not the mac and cheese, bread, or cobbler). We had chopped brisket and pulled pork, cole slaw and baked beans. The sauces are GF. It was all fantastic! It’s a casual place where you order at the counter and choose your own seat. Highly recommended!

Loved eating here! The person behind the counter was able to walk me through which items were safe (everything except for what was fried) and recommended i get the half chicken since it was further away from the buns. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the coleslaw was average but good with the chicken. Would recommend for an easy lunch

I have eaten here many times and have never been cross contaminated or gotten sick. I identify myself as a celiac and they take care of me.

Ate here a few days ago. Food was wonderful, and everything with gluten was packaged separately in the to-go order. We relied on the website which has an allergens chart to choose our food and were not disappointed. Employees were careful to avoid cross contamination. Everything was great. Sauces, meats, drinks, and some sides are gf. I wish that there was a gf dessert choice, but no complaints at all.

We have a gluten sensitivity. Staff are aware of changing gloves, cutlery and surfaces to accommodate gluten free. Fryer is not dedicated so be careful of cross- contamination.

Food was good and the staff were very informed and careful with my food. I am Celiac and never got sick the two times I have eaten there.

Always willing to prepare our meals gluten free without my fuss!
Decent BBQ, I really enjoyed the turkey. The website supposedly lists all allergens, BUT be aware that they do not have a dedicated fryer so the french fries are cross-contaminated.

Food was good, service was fast, and staff was knowledgeable about gf.

The staff was friendly and accommodating and good was to die for! I alerted them of my allergy and the guy preparing the food for me removed his gloves, washed his hands, grabbed a clean cutting board and knife for me! I had the brisket with beans and my husband got ribs and Cole slaw! Meats were flavorful and tender, all sauces are gf and delicious! My husband said the ribs were so tender that your toothless grandmother could eat them! I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go back!

Very accommodating with Gluten Free orders. And all their sauces are gluten free as well!!
BBQ is fantastic! Be careful with the fries since they're cooked in same fryer with breaded items.
Love the allergy table on the website. The guys that helped me were great! Changed gloves and supplies without me having to ask. Fries are cooked in a common frier. Sauces are labeled as GF as well. Will update tonight if I end up with a reaction.

Staff was very familiar with gluten issues. Pointed out which items I could not have. All BBQ sauces were gluten free. Server changed gloves and brought out a new food preparation surface for me. Food was yummy too!

I’ve eaten at another location for this restaurant before but it’s been a while. The staff at this location took the time to talk to me and answer my questions about their practices for serving gluten free. They even let me know which meat was just getting replaced on the line to further reduce any chance of cross contamination on top of their precautions and gave me a takeout container of sauce so I could have bbq sauce and not worry about the bottles on the tables.
Overall a good bbq experience and dining out with staff who seemed well trained and accommodating for Celiacs.
