Went for brunch. The food was amazing. It was the kind of gluten free toast that makes you wonder if they got your order wrong but they didn’t.

No dedicated menu, but server was knowledgeable and asked the kitchen about the corned beef hash. It was gf, came with gf bread on the side and very good! Small portions. Bloody Mary was made with Zing zang so sadly not GF.

Biscottis is a quaint little place in Avondale. This was my first time here. The waiter said that most things can be adjusted to gluten free. I had the Braised Short Ribs, mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans and carrots. The meal was delicious.

We feel safe eating here. They have a culinary trained chef that is willing to modify their dishes to be GF. No GF menu. No dedicated prep space. But they will change gloves, clean pans, new cutting board if asked. They use Udi pizza crust, have GF bread for sandwiches, burgers, and their tasty bruschetta. Can modify salads to be GF. Have some GF deserts. Plus it’s delicious here. No GF pasta.

My daughter has severe anaphylaxis to wheat. The restaurant made her a gluten free pizza with a choice of toppings and she had a gluten free cake with ice cream for dessert!
The fryer is not a dedicated fryer. But there are other items to choose from on the menu.

Not a fan of the gluten free chocolate cake. No flavor and not even sweet. They need to step up their game for GF desert.
Love their steak salad which comes with gluten free bread and the gluten free chocolate cake! Plus the hazelnut capachino is yummy!!
I've had mostly wonderful experiences here. Made a habit of adding chicken to the TMB salad (which is amazing), until one day a server let me know that they marinate the chicken in soy sauce, so it's not GF. Oops.
I still go frequently, I'm just extra careful and explicit with my requests.

They're finally on top of the gluten free options! I grew up going here before my allergy, and have always enjoyed their food. The last time I went a year ago they didn't have a good GF menu and I got sick after eating. I'm happy to report that their menu has been updated. I had the salmon salad and pumpkin soup. Both were wonderful. The salad came with a GF roll, which I avoided just in case. The waiter was very well informed and double-checked with the manager on items he worried were exposed to cross-contamination. Just be mindful of what you're ordering and make sure the staff knows your condition.

The gf pizza was delicious! They have two gf desserts, creme brûlée and flourless rocky road chocolate mousse cake, both are good.
