My sister went with her friend and I asked her to get me a gluten free Pazookie to-go. She told them I had an allergy and it’s supposed to be safe because it’s baked in it’s own container.
It was not safe but thankfully I have a Nima tester that saved me!

I always feel safe eating a BJ’s, and this location was no exception. All GF options are labeled clearly on the menu, the staff knew how to handle gluten allergy, my food was great, and I didn’t get sick from eating there.

Terrible, terrible treatment of me as a celiac. Awful. Ordered the steak, baked potato and broccoli cheddar soup. The kitchen then said the soup wasn't actually gluten free, then the manager told me they were wrong, and assured me it was okay because they don't actually make the soup there, it's pre-made and pre-packaged and they just open and heat it up. The manager kept rolling his eyes at me about the questions I asked and, after all of this trouble and drama about what was or was not gluten free, he didn't even apologize or comp anything. We nearly walked out. After all of that, I was also super sick and had to cancel my next day plans.
Please, do not support this location with their terrible treatment of celiac customers and horrific food handling.

I was worried because of the other review so I made sure to be diligent when ordering. I'm really sensitive with cross contamination so I was sure to let Ed our waiter know. He said they have a special allergy button they push to make sure it's made correctly to avoid cross contamination.
I ordered the cfgf pizza Hawaiian style and a baked potato with chicken, chives, and cheese both to split with my husband. I also ordered wyder's pear cider. I noted that on the gluten free menu the potato does not come with Alfredo sauce which it normally does. I was going to mention that but decided to wait to see how they brought it out.
The manager brought out the pizza and stated that it was gluten free. The waiter brought out the potato. I noticed melted cheese but also what looked like Alfredo sauce. My husband who is not celiac nor sensitive thought it was cheese but upon tasting it verified it was Alfredo. I asked the server who apologized profusely saying he thought the potato was only for my husband and did not make it gluten free. He took it and brought another one that was gf. He also brought us a free gluten free Pizookie with vanilla ice cream which was amazing!
Besides the error and hostess service (which is why I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars) it was a great experience and I didn't get sick at all besides the ate a little too much dairy gas.
My brother who is also sensitive to gluten but not as sensitive as me also ate with us. He had a patron margarita, salmon with brown rice (I guess rice pilaf is not GF), & a Pizookie w/ ice cream. He also did not get sick.
Overall a great experience, you just need to be diligent as always because no one except you will suffer if you get glutened.

Asked for gluten free, not sure what set me off but it was either the steak or the green beans. I will not likely be back.

They have a special GF menu with lots of options. My son had the GF BQ pizza and liked it a lot. He’s very sensitive and didn’t have any issues. If you have room the GF pizza cookie w ice cream is crazy good!! I used open table to make my reservation.

Picked up GF take-out pizza. Tiny & expensive, did not love the flavor. Disappointing service.
