The server was very knowledgeable about safe GF handling. Had the GF pizza and a GF pizookie. Pizookie ice cream even came in a sealed container to avoid cross contamination.

Asked for a gluten free pizza and server asked if it was allergy, that’s always comforting to hear! They also have a couple gf hard ciders. I never get sick here!

Few options if you're also vegetarian.

I've eaten here a few times & always feel nervous. Staff seems to have no idea about gluten free even though they have a special menu. Very disappointing since so many people in gf community rave about BJ's.
Might be the best option we have encountered so far in terms of national chains. Gluten free beer (red bridge), gluten free dessert (pizookie), and gluten free pizza with some other nice options in there. Having an actual printed menu is nice as well instead of just a list of contained allergens (they have that too though).
Yummy pizza! Love the soup. Wish their tortilla chips were GF, though, so I could enjoy the spinach artichoke dip!!!
I can’t speak for anyone else’s experience but…My daughter has celiacs so eating out is a struggle, especially on the road. We picked BJ's bc they have gf buns. But they went above and beyond for my daughter. Our server Deja HANDCUT her French fries and then oven cooked them so there was no cross contamination with the fryers and had their manager cook her onions and mushrooms bc the kitchen was busy and she wanted to make sure it was right. I couldn't have asked for a better server or food for her!

I love their burgers/sandwiches. The server did warn me that the fries are cooked in a shared fryer, but it didn’t make me sick. So I guess they must change their oil out frequently or something.

I really love BJ’s as an easy place to eat out. They’re super knowledgeable about gf things and while I didn’t ask about specific practices, as soon as I said I had celiac’s, the server reassured me. And honestly the food tastes great. I had a burger and the gluten-free pizookie and it was delicious! My ice cream was even served from a brand new package to be extra safe. Didn’t get sick, would definitely come back.

Gluten Sensitive Option items marked on menu (appetizers, salads, entrees). Gluten free buns available for burgers. Gluten free pizza option. I had a Strawberry fields chicken salad with balsamic vinaigrette. It was average good.
The service was horrible, we felt like we were at an invisible table. The large group that arrived well after we ordered received their food before ours. And our 3 orders came out piece meal from the kitchen. We had to ask multiple times for items we ordered, for refills and for our change once we paid the bill.
