I was looking forward to visiting for over a year. Unfortunately, our experience was very different from other reviewers. We ordered three hot dishes, all of which tasted fine but ranged from lukewarm to cold. Our server seemed poorly trained or apathetic. We ordered an appetizer and then had to ask him to order our main course after he brought our drinks. He did not ask how our meal was or check if we needed anything for the entire hour we were there. Other staff members cleared our finished dishes and I had to request a box for leftovers (as one was not offered). Our server walked past our table three times after we finished eating and had our dishes cleared before asking if we wanted the check. I was disappointed with the service and the attention to detail with the food.

Dedicated Gluten Free Kitchen!!! Order anything on the menu! Mark is an amazing owner with incredible staff!! I cannot say enough about this place! Always my go to, incredible menu choices & have never had anything that was less than delish!! Having the ability to choose anything off the menu & know I will not be sick, if you know.. you know. Just that peace of mind alone brings me there! Absolutely one of my favorite places to go!!!

Can only compound upon what previous posters had to say - what a wonderful surprise/ experience! In Bridgeport for the weekend and happened upon black rock for brunch. Food was delish, drinks were reasonable and even a 3 Piece jazz band. Well worth a visit! Owner could not have been more welcoming!

Awesome food that’s 100% gluten free. There is no food in the kitchen that contains gluten. Waitstaff was a bit slow but the food came out quickly. The owner is super nice and gave me samples of 2 GF beers they have on tap. Went before a concert and got 15% off. The KFC chicken and Mexican dips were my favorites

The entire restaurant is GF. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly! I had a bite from everyone! I never get to do that. My chicken and waffles was amazing. I also loved the tot appetizer. The crepes were also fab!

I have celiac disease and this is a rare gluten free facility, but you would never know it - the food is that good! The owner doesn’t even advertise gluten free and no one can tell the difference. The food is fantastic and the ambiance is friendly and welcoming. In addition to the regular menu, there is a special menu from a different country for each month - all gluten free! This month (Sept.) is Argentina (yum!). We especially liked trying and sharing a number of different “Noshables” - just delicious! Homemade meatballs, gnocchi, sauces and much more! So much fun to choose anything off the menu!! I highly recommend!

Friendly, all Gluten free, delicious! Everything on the menu is gluten free. The appetizer meatballs were moist and flavorful. My husband's burger bun was soft and didn't disentegrate, the chicken paprikash was moist and flavorful along with the spaetzle. Both of us asked the rich and tasty desserts-white and dark chocolate au creme and honey, lavender creme brulee. The owner stopped by to talk to us too. He is really nice and we had a lovely talk.

Amazing “foodie” experience! Mark (owner) made me feel NORMAL for the first time in nearly a decade. His idea of noshables with the true foodie experience is something I have not been able to experience anywhere else. Daily house made gnocchis are to die for! Great drinks, good atmosphere, and overall feeling of comfort. He was so welcoming and knowledgeable. I haven’t stopped thinking of this place since! I’ll be a new regular :)

This place is an amazing find!! My boyfriend and I are always on the hunt for new gluten free finds and this place is our new favorite. They have gluten free chicken and waffles. I repeat. THEY HAVE GLUTEN FREE CHICKEN AND WAFFLES! I'm so baffled every time I see something new on their menu and it's STILL 100% gluten free! The servers have no issue with soothing any of my worries. And everything tastes soooo good. My favorite place in the town and it's 10 minutes from my house!

100% gf kitchen. They do serve gluten beer, but it's poured separately and has it's own dishwasher. That's incredible. The food is delicious. I had chicken milanese, which was superb. Crisp crust, topped with fresh arugula pickled onions and candied jalapeños. Top notch. Mark, the owner, served us. A genuinely kind and warm human being. He gets the challenge of Celiac. I 100% recommend.

My new favorite place! I cannot even remember the last time I ate somewhere and was able to order ANYTHING from the menu. I am celiac and extremely sensitive to cross contamination. This is my new favorite restaurant! It was so great to enjoy excellent food and have no fear of getting sick from cross contamination. I have Celiac and am super sensitive. I am also intolerant to garlic and onion. The chef made adjustments and my food was flavorful and even had sauce. I’ve been twice this past week. The friends I had dinner with do not need to eat gluten free but enjoyed the food and wouldn’t have even realized they were eating gf.

Despite being told this was a dedicated gluten free restaurant, I was nervous going in and after looking at the menu because everything on the menu was food I’m used to avoiding in restaurants. We had appetizers, drinks, entrees and dessert and everything was delicious. Better yet I was finally full after a restaurant meal and there were no ill effects at all. This is my new favorite go-to restaurant.

Really good food, 100% GF kitchen, which is a welcome relief for any skittish celiac in Fairfield county. They handmake their own gf pasta (!!!). Blackrock is such a cool neighborhood (pick up your specialty Mexican groceries from Mi Rancho while you’re there) and BRSH adds to the charm. It’s also LGBTQIA+ friendly.

My daughter has Celiac so we were excited to go once we heard about it. It did not disappoint. The food was excellent (we ordered a number of the appetizers) and the service is outstanding. The staff confirmed it was a dedicated gluten free kitchen, with only some of the beers with gluten.

All of the food is gluten free! What a treat to feel totally safe in a restaurant and have a vast array of choices to eat. We ordered the short rib appetizer, taco appetizer, fettuccine, shepherd’s pie, tres leches cake and apple crisp. We loved it all!! The employees are totally friendly and on top of it. The covid procedures were top notch.

All items on the menu are GF! Great wait staff, attentive but not intrusive. It is a great experience to order anything on the menu, and know it is GF! The GF beers on tap are excellent, and I recommend the Red Ale! I have eaten breakfast and dinner here. The bagel and lox are to die for!
