past reviews state that staff understand gluten cross contamination, this is far from true. i ordered pad thai, gluten free, no egg, with tofu not fried. i’m so glad i checked before i left, but they deep fried the tofu in the same fryer as all of the gluten egg rolls and desserts. when i asked them about it, they said it was fine and definitely gluten free and it didn’t matter. asked them to remake it, and they gave me an attitude but did remake, however now i don’t trust that it’s safe for me to eat. will not be returning.

The menu isn’t marked but the staff can tell you what they can GF at the front. I was told they make it in a clean pan. When she brought it out to my table, it was in a separate tray and she said gluten free! :-) My food was delicious!! Pork fried rice with mixed vegetables!

Ate here multiple times over the course of a few days when in town for work, never got sick. They cleaned the wok and used gluten free soy sauce. I had fried rice variations only, but they have more options. A convenient, quick, and safe bet.

It’s not dedicated gf but every time I go here they take care of me. I usually get the pad Thai or curry and always feel good after.

I order from Block 9 1-2 times a week Veggie or chicken Pad Thai (GF) they always accommodate . Soooooo yummy get it will a little spice other wise it's a bit bland.

They are very conscious about gluten free. Once you say that you are they will make modifications for you! I have never had an issue eating there and I eat there probably twice a month!

NOT CELIAC SAFE. Today I ordered GLUTEN FREE pad thai with shrimp. The gal on the phone asked if I wanted to do the lunch special or dinner serving. I asked if the only difference was size, and she said yes, the lunch special is smaller and comes with a won ton or something so she would leave that out since I was GF. My husband picked up my order and when I pulled it out of the fridge for dinner, there was no indicator it was gluten free. I called the restaurant and they reviewed my ticket. They said the girl who took my order was new and that she never marked it to be GF. I also found out my order had chicken in it because it was the lunch special. I don't eat meat, so when she reccomended the special to me & told me the only difference was smaller size, I had no idea there would be a meat I never requested. They offered a credit towards a new meal, but refused to give me a refund because I took the food. At this point I'm just glad I didn't eat it. This is the first time I've ever had a problem there, but they sure didn't handle it well and screwing up on a food allergy is a big deal. I like their food, but I can't risk going to place that isn't more careful with food allergies. I also didn't care that during our conversation they implied I somehow didn't order right, causing the whole thing. I was very clear with the gal on the phone. I have celiac disease and gluten free is always the first thing out of my mouth. Anyway, food is good, but don't go there if you have allergies or special food needs.

They can adapt most menu items to be gf. I had the best Pad Thai I have ever had!
