The GF Monte Cristo was incredible! I emailed [email protected] about a week before my reservation date to request it, and it did not disappoint. The serving size was huge and came with a side salad and strawberries. There are a few other items on their allergy-friendly menu that looked good as well, including a GF cheesecake, but I was too full to try it. Servers are knowledgeable and it was a great dining experience.

Had an afternoon reservation and went to ask them about GF options when we first arrived at the park. After reading the reviews on this app, I decided to ask if they could somehow get me the GF monte Cristo. Tami was so kind to go talk to the chef to try and make it happen for that afternoon. When we arrived it was fully ready and the servers were aware. It was a great experience overall and they were so helpful!

One of my favourite meals at Disney. The Creole Chicken is incredible, and our server mentioned there might be a cross-contact issue with the andouille sausage so he came back to me from the kitchen with other options. I got mashed potatoes (my favourite.) Would highly recommend to treat yourself to a meal here

LOVED the gluten free Monte cristo!! Served with salad and seasonal jams. I made a reservation ahead of time and emailed the Disneyland special diets team [email protected] to have my order added to my reservation. No issues when we arrived! The Monte cristo is my favorite thing to eat at Disneyland and I was so sad when I thought I’d never be able to have one again, but their gluten free version definitely does it justice!

The gluten free Monti Cristo is fantastic. You first have to get a reservation to get into the restaurant. Then you need to call them at least a few days prior to your reservation so they can get everything together to prepare it.

So good! We got last minute reservations only 5 days before. I emailed Disney to request the GF Monte Cristo. However they did not have that noted on my reservation. They told me it could take 40-60 minutes but were able to use Cafe Orleans kitchen to make it for me! It was delicious and came with a pear/Arugula salad that was delicious as well! Loved it!

I have a very severe case of Celiacs Disease. I am so impressed of their service to accommodate that. Before we even got seated, when they were asking how many in our party, the hostess asked if anyone had any allergies. I told her I couldn't have any gluten (no wheat, barley, ect.) And she said that would be no problem. They sat us and brought me an allergy friendly menu which had A LOT of options. It was awesome. The waiter then brought me out my own basket of gluten free rolls which were so so yummy. I ordered roasted chicken with potatoes and veggies. And it came out and it was perfect!! Such amazing service and they were so so kind the whole time about my sensitivity!! They have so many gluten free options and are more than happy to accommodate the customers needs!!

Did a fantasmic dining package here, and well worth it. Have great seats for show. I have both gluten and dairy allergies and they took care of me with no problem. Had the chicken with a salad and mango sorbet for desert. The one hiccup was with the dinner rolls. They brought me out gf rolls with butter. I asked for new rolls in case of cross contamination, and got them (waiter did not try to pull a fast one and just take the butter out of the basket - he actually threw the rolls out). Yes it is pricy, but you are paying for the seats later that are front and center.

I'm sorry to say that I was super disappointed in Blue Bayou. I called 60 days in advance to make reservations for a party of 16 (family reunion), and gave them a list of our guests' food allergies, as requested. When I arrived in the park (24 hours prior), my reservation appeared on the Disneyland app as 5 separate tables.

I called the Disney Dining number and asked to speak to Blue Bayou. The girl who answered said that I was (I know now that I probably was speaking to a Disney Dining rep, not someone actually at the restaurant). I asked why my reservation showed 5 tables, and she said that was the best arrangement for our party, as we could push the 5 tables together and eat all together. I asked if they still had the list of food allergies I had given them, and she read them back to me. All's well, right?

Unfortunately, when we arrived at Blue Bayou, the host seemed confused and annoyed. First he said that he couldn't find our reservation. After he found them, he said that he didn't understand why I had 5 separate reservations, and would need to create a new one. When I told him that this was for a party with multiple food allergies, he handed me the generic GF menu (which doesn't list any of the ingredients), and then asked me to give him the list all over again. I told him, "You already had the list. You've had it for 60 days!" He replied that it must be on one of the old reservations, but he couldn't look them up, so I needed to give them all to him again, right there, off the top of my head. I had to ask my family members to each list their allergies because I didn't have them written down.

Then we had to wait another 1/2 hour to be seated, only to discover that they had split our family up between two different tables with two different waiters. My brother had flown in all the way from the Middle East for this family reunion, and we couldn't even sit together at the same table!

The waiters were completely unprepared and asked us to list our food allergies AGAIN! We gave them our allergy dining cards, and then they brought the chef out to speak to us. After looking at the cards, he looked at the generic GF menu and said, "I'm sorry, there's not much here that I can offer you." Seriously? After 60 DAYS of knowing we were coming??

My understanding was that if you made reservations and alerted them of your food allergies within the appropriate time frame, they would ensure that there was something on the menu that was safe for you to eat. Instead, we were offered generic choices minus the "good stuff", with no allergen-free alternatives.

My mother ended up with a plain baked chicken breast and roasted potatoes. My daughter was stuck with another dry chicken breast, white rice, and steamed broccoli. No seasonings, no dairy-free margarine, no GF soy sauce, no allergen-free dressing...NOTHING. I could have made a meal better than that at home for 1/10th of the cost.

This meal at a gourmet restaurant in the middle of our 3-day Disney trip was supposed to be the highlight of our family reunion and a special treat for those who can hardly ever safely eat out. Instead, it turned out to be a huge disappointment. I will never bother spending that kind of money for a special meal again. Even the quick service restaurants had better service than this.

Before we were even seated they asked if there were any allergies. The server was very knowledgable and brought me warm GF rolls with my own butter when everyone else received a loaf of bread to share. I had chicken, au graten potatoes and steamed veggies. It was delicious and I did not get sick. It's pricey, but definitely worth getting a reservation and eating there at least once if you can.

So yummy. We booked for dinner and I had the rack of lamb. They told me they would make a special order for me because it usually has breading. It was pricey but we had missed lunch and it was so tasty like at a fancy restaurant. There were hot gf rolls with butter as well. Then we rode the Pirates of the Caribbean :)

The gluten free menu is good for dinner but for those, like myself who want a light lunch or basically any lunch that doesn't consist of steak or a large piece of meat or fish, this place is not ideal. I told my waitress of the predicament and she was extremely not helpful. I asked if she could just allow me a side salad and soup and she refused to accommodate me so I took my business elsewhere. I would not recommend if you are in a similar position as I was.

Excellent from start to finish great gf rolls and options. Waiter was awesome very well trained staff. But DL no longer offers a list of allergy friendly options they force you to go to each establishment and declare your allergy them ask what is available. We relied on gf blogs some of which were outdated

I am a HIGHLY sensitive and reactive Celiac who also has several other food intolerances. Going out to eat usually brings about concern and anxiety for me. When putting our name in they asked about any food allergies. I was impressed. I was also impressed with their allergy menu. However, because of my many food restrictions, I thought I couldn't eat much of anything after first reviewing it. Once I said something to the server (who was extremely attentive) he went and got the chef. Chef Andre came out and was incredibly knowledgeable. He suggested several ideas and catered to my wish for salmon and lots of vegetables. When the food came out I was blown away. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked and was absolutely delicious. A bonus was the iced tea was delicious too. And - I didn't have even the tiniest bit of a reaction. I'd DEFINITELY go back!

I had a wonderful experience at this beautiful restaurant within Disneyland in August 2014. We made the server aware that two members of my family are gluten intolerant and one has Celiac disease, and the manager, Mike, came out to discuss options with us. He was incredibly accommodating, including bringing out gluten-free bread and making a blue cheese dressing special for us, since most of their salad dressings come pre-packaged. The three of us enjoyed delicious meals of lamb, the surf and turf and salmon, all of which came with salad ahead of time. The server was very cautious to keep our food separate, so we not only had a fantastic meal in the Happiest Place on Earth, we had a safe one as well.

We had the greatest experience with this restaurant. The chef came out to discuss the options since I can't have gluten, soy, pepper, and many other items. The chef was very knowledgable and even told me about items that didn't know had gluten including blue cheese. I highly recommend this place!
