They had a handwritten gluten free menu. The waitress looked bemused when I told her I needed to be gluten free and She said she has been asked so many times about the ingredients and food prep that she was confident they would meet my needs. She knew that cross contamination would issue with the fryer. So I felt there was a good chance the food would come out alright. I ordered the crab dip for my husband and I to split. She brought it out with bread and I had to ask what I could eat it with, “oh, well I could bring out celery”. It did go well with the celery, but I felt they could have some option at the ready like a bag of gf chips. The crab dip was so-so taste wise. My entree with the Crab Saute. Which literally consisted of lumps of crab and steamed shrimp, with out seasoning or butter. Taste wise, the crab was good but the shrimp a little over cooked. My sides were the corn on the cob brought out in the husk, which was very sweet even though they they didnt bring out butter. And creole rice, which I double checked the ingredients and sounded fine. Taste wise it was dry but mildly spicy from being cooked with Andouille sausage. Overall, very friendly and accommodating. But the taste was lackluster. No immediate response indicating gluten exposure but I will edit this review if that changes.

Also I see other people reviewed that the chips were gf, they are not because they are fried in the same frier used for everything.
