The food was fine, but not as good as I'd hoped and a little spendy for the portion. Would have preferred an actual GF menu and not just taking the word of the waitress after I guessed I could probably eat the hash.

My original review (below) was from April 2016. However, this place changed management (and the menu) in December 2016. I just went back and was extremely disappointed. The waitress made me feel like I was being ridiculous and she contradicted what she was saying ("your food will be cooked separately" and then "it will be on the flat grill, but they'll clean it first"). The menu is now a "gluten sensitive" menu, rather than gluten free. If you don't have Celiac, this may be ok, but for those with Celiac, I would not risk it. I will not be going back.

Original review: Great service, great food. I called ahead and talked with the manager (Samantha) and she assured me that food was prepared separately and the kitchen was well-versed in gluten-free meal prep. She came over to my table, along with another manager, and assured me that my meal was prepared gluten-free. Most of the regular menu can be converted to GF, and it was delicious. Would absolutely go back.

Great breakfast for gluten free people like me. Selection isn't huge but what they do have is awesome and different. My favorite is the 'hash it up' with corned beef hash, poached eggs and GF toast. Hard to find GF corned beef hash and this one is fantastic! The staff is knowledgeable and attentive to GF needs. Will definitely be back. As an aside - take out is just as good as eating in! Boxes clearly labeled for the GF items.

I have eaten here twice while visiting my daughter at school. I have a gluten intolerance and food allergies. They were very accommodating about making adjustments and confirming that they would work for me. Did breakfast and lunch, both cooked from scratch with quality ingredients.

I was really excited to go here after reading all the reviews. It just wasn't anything too special. I expected most things to be able to be made gluten free, but there's no gluten free fryer and it ended up limiting a lot of what I could get. The waiter seemed pretty unsure of the whole situation too, but after asking he ended up shooting down most of what I wanted to get. What I did get was good, but I won't be back.

Always a great meal. Staff is very knowledgable. GF plates are different shape to differentiate. Wine on tap. Delicious chocolate cake that is light (not fudge like) with a chocolate buttercream like icing. Ancient grains and salmon are delicious.

The food is good and the prices are good. Disappointed that there is no gluten free dessert. They also will not do substitutions. For example dish normally comes with a turn over. Asked if I could have a scoop of mashed potatoes instead and they said not without being charged. I don't quite understand that. I would come back.

New entry: I returned and had a fabulous dinner. Plenty of gf options to choose from and very knowledgeable staff. Definitely will come back. Food was delish!!

Hi Teresa - glad you enjoyed the visit! Just wanted to let you know that we are happy to substitute GF bread for the popover (which is our bread service). Also, currently on our menu we have 3 GF desserts: an artisan sorbet from Bliss Family Farms, a GF chocolate cake as well as our bruleed rice pudding. Hope to see you in again soon!
