We stopped for burgers bc they listed GF buns, which is rare. The burgers were excellent and my 2 daughters with celiac disease said their buns were so surprisingly good, they were afraid they weren’t GF. But those were definitely different than the others and no one had an adverse reaction. We felt unsure about Cross contamination as they don’t have things separate in the kitchen and bc they couldn’t guarantee a dedicated GF fryer, my girls stayed away from the fries.

A fast food gluten friendly experience. Definite options but I am uncertain if it is celiac friendly. I had no negative experiences with mild to moderate celiac.

My times eating at blue sky are mixed. When ordering , I have been informed at least two to three times that they have a dedicated prep station. When eating inside the restaurant, they brought my food out on the same tray as gluten bread, and the items in my dish we're touching items that contaminated it. They did remake the food, but be aware you need to be careful and your own advocate depending on staff at this location. I've also been told items did not have any flour, wheat, or gluten in them when they did, so if you have doubts don't get it or speak to a manager.
They have fantastic gluten free fries, and their burgers especially with sauteed onions and jalapenos taste wonderful, just be aware that depending on staff they may not be careful.
If ordering only gluten free items from this establishment, there has never been a problem. They're a regular for me, my significant other and I only order gluten free for this reason, and it's always a great option for us.

I eat here often as it is the safest I have here in town. You have to let them know it’s an “allergy” ask them to clean the grill change the gloves etc. I order the gluten free cheese burger with everything and gluten free cheese fries and I have no problem. Thankful to have this place!! I am celiac.

Not celiac safe! Cross contamination all over the place with the toppings. I got incredibly sick.

I ordered a burger and fries gluten free, she then asked if I wanted it buttered and toasted. At first I said yes, then learned it was a shared grill. Cross contamination high risk!!!! The bun was really dry and hard as well, my hubby's gluten burger sure looked good though

Update: went back in May, 2021 on a road trip. Quality is still excellent and I didn’t get sick. Seriously the best fries ever, the burger is perfect. If you’re road tripping down I-40 just make a point to stop there. :-) ——— One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Good gluten free bun. The fries and tater tots are fried separately from wheat containing food. You can call ahead, pick up in their drive through, and make this a really quick stop on your I-40 road trip. The staff was very knowledgeable about allergies.

Got food from Blue Sky’s today for our family of 9. Not only was it delicious but it was all CORRECT... and it was not a simple order... no mayo here, gluten free there, no mustard another place. We had our 14 year daughter practice calling in the order and the young lady taking the order was very patient and repeated it all back to her.
They did have gluten free buns. In another review I read they had gluten free batter for the onion rings but that is not the case. Us gluten free folks were quite happy with our burgers and fries and one of us got tater tots! And the non gluten free folks were happy with their burgers and fries and onion rings. So 18 thumbs up from this crew : )
Gluten free buns available and fries are gluten free. Their protein plate is my favorite and delicious!

Had a cheeseburger and onion rings!! Dedicated fryer for fries, onion rings, tater tots!! Delicious!! Sweet young lady at counter knew exactly what to do with my order. She told me they had a separate grill in the back for my bun and burger patty!! It was delicious!! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!!
Ordered the bacon cheeseburger and fries. Dedicated fryer and the HF bun was good. No adverse reaction

There wasn’t a separate gluten free menu, but the staff was very knowledgeable in letting you know what was and wasn’t gluten free. If you’ve been craving fries this place is great because they have a separate fryer. The gluten free bun was good as well! I would definitely recommend it.

The I40 location has burgers (gluten-free buns) and fries that taste amazing and do not upset my stomach. However, the buns and possibly the burgers are cooked in butter, so those with lactose sensitivities should request no butter.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Order at the front and they call you up by number. They have gluten free buns. I called ahead to make sure. The only concern I have about cross contamination was the bread- it came out toasted and I have no idea how/where it was placed. I would inquire about which grill the gf bread gets toasted on, due to contamination possibility. It didn't seem to effect me this time, but I know everyone is different.
I've had great burgers here several times and have had no problems!

Every time I eat at either blue sky restaurants I get horribly sick I won't eat there anymore I wish I could give this no stars
No
Three stars because my burger was amazing.. But, when I asked about gluten free, the cashier froze. She had to ask the manager, and he seemed perplexed.
Bottom line. If you have celiac, proceed with caution.
The food is awesome! If you tell them you are gluten-free, extra measures are taken against cross contamination. They change gloves for gluten free orders and the staff is amazing!

I've tried ordering gluten free two separate times and each time I've been told they aren't sure what I'm talking about. Maybe I've talked to the wrong people.. I've never actually gotten a chance to try their food.

Delicious burger with gluten free bun. My husband (not gf) was raving about the French fries and sweet potato fries, which are cooked in dedicated fryers. They have a gf jalapeño ketchup that is really tasty.
I visited Amarillo on a business trip. My colleague an I ate here two nights in a row since we liked it so well. The gluten free chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries were very good, and my colleague had their hamburger (not gluten free) which he said was the best burger he has had in a long while. Great food at reasonable prices.

AWESOME!! They have a dedicated fryer for their fries (fried in cottonseed oil), and gluten free bun option. And the food was awesome!!!!
