Bluebird Bistro

They have gluten free bread and gluten free pizza crust. I got the Lemon Ricotta pizza with the gluten free crust and it was very yummy. I’m new to the whole celiacs disease thing since I was recently diagnosed. So i’m glad they had yummy stuff. They seemed to be a little bit understaffed though so the wait time was a little long. Overall I’d say this is a pretty good place to eat if you can’t have gluten.

— Good

After safely eating at Blue Bird Bistro dozens of times, there is a new chef and new kitchen set up. We were able to talk with the sous chef, who told us that there is an active flouring station in the kitchen. He said that based on the impact of this station in the small kitchen, he would not let his celiac family members eat there. He was able to run to an upstairs kitchen to get my kids a basic salad (no protein) and a side of fruit.

We are sad that this is no longer an option for our family and hope that this changes in the future!

We were at Granby to ski for three days. Each day at lunch we were able to dive here. The ribs were great the first day, the second day I had a great burger on their gf bun and the third day they grilled wings for me since they did not have a dedicated fryer. They were so incredible and the staff was not put out at all at being asked to accommodate my celiac situation.
