Best gluten free pancake ever! Cute diner, great service. No gf bread options, but I loved the pancake! I had the pancake with my breakfast.

Although GF items exist, they are all cooked on shared grill. No true GF from a celiac perspective.

We split the GF pancakes and the bluebird special. I asked them to make sure they were careful as my son has true celiac but has been less sensitive. He found a crispy chunk of something in the pancakes, so that should have been our first warning. He vomits about 2 hours later if he's had a lot of gluten and that's what happened. If he has a small amount (like a couple french fries) he's fine. The bowl he vomited in was completely covered in oil (the bluebird is a greasy spoon cafe, so not unexpected). I bet they don't change their fryer oil carefully enough and that's how he got glutened, because everything we ate was GF (eggs, hashbrowns, the GF pancakes, bacon). My son is about 85 lbs, so I'm hoping at some point he won't react as severely. My daughter is about 105 lbs and she didn't have a problem when she ate the pancakes. It was a while ago and I can't remember if she ate hashbrowns. I would call and complain, maybe I will, but I'm not feeling up for it. If you want to take a chance, you can try it but I'd avoid it if you are a true celiac or very sensitive.

I have celiac and did not get sick, however, the food is mediocre at best. Pancakes have no flavor even though we add blueberries to one and chocolate chips to the other. Syrup is watered down and you can’t taste the pecans or maple in the bacon. Not worth $5 for a side of bacon at all.

I am a pretty sensitive celiac, and I have eaten here countless times with no problems. Good breakfast food for very cheap. Highly recommend the gluten free pancakes and hash browns

We were told they had gluten free pancakes. While we were waiting for our food I continued to ask questions; do u have a separate pan , separate cooking utensils, etc?? No! We were told they use the same pan as the other pancakes!!! When will restaurant owners get educated about celiac disease???
No
I have celiac disease and asked the waitress for any gluten free options. She notified me that the cooks refuse to take extra precautions to prevent cross contamination, such as, changing utensils or changing their gloves. Therefore, I was unable to order anything of the menu, even when they write gluten free next to some of their foods. Staff was very unfriendly and I will NEVER return.

Staff was very knowledgeable about Celiac Disease and was genuinely concerned about the avoidance of any cross contamination. GF pancakes were amazing! Fantastic! We will be back!

I have eaten here twice, and definitely would eat here again. The pancakes are awesome! I had plain ones the first time, and blueberry pancakes the second time. Two pancakes was plenty for me. Both times I had a cup of fresh fruit, also delicious.

Was told that the GF pancakes and the hash browns are cooked on the same grill with gluten containing items. Had an omelette instead.
