Me and my brother (both celiac) split a delicious Margherita pizza and panini. Waiter was extremely knowledgeable and took precaution with our allergy. They were even able to do gluten free dessert. Cant recommend enough!

The food feels safe and was tasty. We had a slightly annoying experience with the waitress billing us incorrectly multiple times but we got it sorted out.

Food was good. Had the risotto. Waiter didn’t inspire confidence but they did mark my order gluten free and I had no contamination issues so all good! They do note menu items that are/can be gluten free.

Recommend it when in Cooperstown.

Highly recommend! I’m a very sensitive Celiac and have eaten here many times with no issue. The staff are knowledgeable, respectful, and attentive. They have protocols for avoiding cross contamination. The doctors at Bassett Hospital recommend Bocca to their celiac patients. The food is incredible. Authentic Italian cuisine. They even bring our house made GF flat bread and olive oil balsamic dip for the table. It’s so exciting to have such an excellent place to eat totally anxiety free!

OMG!! Went to dinner 7/3/19. I’m always nervous going to a new place, but they were great. I stopped in the day before and spoke to them. Gluten free prep is done separately. They have their own pots and pans. Most items can be made GF. I did not ask about fryer or paninis since I focused on the pasta. They even serve GF bread! It was an amazing meal.

Turns out, most of the items that are marked “gluten-free“ are either cooked in the same oil as the gluten – containing items or cooked on the same panini machine. So the only thing you can get here safely is a pizza or one kind of pasta. We both got the pizza and it was so-so.

Was told that almost everything in the menu can be made gf - don't do calamari or paninis - shared with gluten. I ordered the pizza, it was delicious and they explained how they peppered it safely (they didn't put it in the wood fired grill).

I had a gluten free version of the Pappardelle Bolognese. it was the best GF dish I've ever had. It even had a gluten free meatball. They also provide a GF flat bread (I think GF pizza dough) but they provided it and it was good. $18. They can make most of their menu gluten free. Try it, you'll love it.

We ate here twice while visiting Cooperstown- once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times the food and the service was excellent. They definitely understood the need to be carful regarding x-contamination and I felt well taken care of. I'd definitely recommend this place overdone if the other, less celiac friendly, places in town. Why take a risk when there's a delicious, safe, place to eat?

Every item on the menu could be made gluten free. I had the spaghetti something without cheese. It was delicious, serving size was much smaller than most Italian restaurants which did not fill me up so I just had more gluten free bread. When I asked the waiter what I could eat he said anything and then offered to bring gluten free bread just for me. I really liked the gluten free bread, not because it was super good bread but because most places I eat at don't have gluten free bread and so I'm stuck watching my family eat their glutened bread and I feel left out.

We had dinner here last night. Called ahead to ask questions since my son and I both have Celiac. I was told they couldn't guarantee there would be no cross contamination but that they used a separate prep area and pots/pans. We both had pizza and it was outstanding. We had no issues. Server was aware of our concerns and informed everyone that needed to know about our dietary requirements. We noticed other GF customers ordering near us as well. I would be very comfortable eating here again.

They bring warm, gluten free bread to the table! I almost cried! But do eat this bread when it's hot because it does get very hard when it's cooled down. The food was all delicious and fresh and the staff was knowledgable and friendly. Definitely get a dish that includes the tomato cream sauce, it is easily the best sauce my husband and I have had anywhere. A great, safe find in Cooperstown!
