This is quickly becoming my go to for dedicated gluten free vegan food! It’s great!

Just to be clear-This facility is NOT DEDICATED gf. I learned the hard way when we visited for Hoopfest & got very sick from a cupcake. She told my husband she makes regular food and cakes for local restaurants in her kitchen too, so be aware. I did get sick.

Great for gluten and vegan options. Not great for any other allergens as they are not marked and servers had no idea what was in each item. Was served very small portions.

Now reopened across the street in Saranac Commons, order at counter and sit anywhere. GF, vegan and soy items are all labeled. Delicious food and flavors!

I was visiting the area for my birthday and stopped here for cupcakes. We also ended up getting some cookies and rice pudding as well. Everything was delicious and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

Everything is gluten free other than carrot cupcakes. Very safe for celiacs. Also 100% vegan if that interests you. Recommendation: pumpkin waffle for breakfast with seasonal latte Best for breakfast or lunch. Owner Alison is a compassionate and dedicated business owner.

What a welcome find after a morning of traveling to Spokane!! All of the food is gluten free and vegan. There’s a deli case filled with lots of options. Many of them have nourishing veggies. They also make pumpkin waffles. The two items I had were delicious!

I’m really surprised what “Janessa” wrote below to GFceliac. Boots makes more than a non gf “cupcake” in her kitchen, she makes full on gluten filled cakes in her bakery for Mizuna every week. She’s done this for years. All you have to do is ask her and she’ll tell you the same thing. It’s not just a cupcake with dairy, it’s a whole batch of cakes for another restaurant. And it’s in the same kitchen, same utensils, same Oven. So, GFCeliac is right, she’s not a dedicated GF/Vegan place. Boots has made me and others I know sick and personally we haven’t been back in years. Coming to an ap to leave ONE review to simply harass someone for their experience is uncalled for and doesn’t help others here decide. Especially harassing them when what they’ve posted is true. What if this person got sick and left that review and you’re here gaslighting this person simply because you don’t agree? We leave reviews here to let people know how OUR personal experience was, not so you can come to this ap to harass people about their experience because it makes you mad.

I was surprised by the negative review Gf_Celiac gave. I notice this person has been submitting 5 star reviews at several other “non-dedicated” restaurants that I would never trust— it’s curious. Boots has always been straight forward about what they serve. The carrot cake cupcake is the only non GF item, and the milks for coffee are the only non vegan items. Perhaps Gf_Celiac has an ulterior motive for leaving a bad review- not sure.

Here’s my review for boots: I’ve been frequenting this place for years. I always feel confident and safe eating here. Recently, they provided cupcakes for my wedding reception and waffle batter for a 50 person brunch the next day. Everyone loved the cupcakes and waffles, including the non GF guests.

I tried a variety of their baked goods. The chocolate no-bake cookies were to die for! Good service, definitely safe for celiac as everything is gluten free.

One of my favorite places to eat! Never feel sick and love the food. The desserts are where they really shine! They are so delicious and you can’t even tell they’re gluten free and vegan.

Most of the food is served deli-style, with various pre-prepared salads and pastas and stir-fries and other good things to serve from. Everything is gluten free and vegan, and some items are marked soy free, but it doesn't fall into the classic gluten-free-and-vegan trap of being kind of bland and uninteresting. The flavors were incredible and the food was really interesting! If you go some must-tries are the cheesy mushrooms, the corn fritter (with chipotle cream - DELICIOUS) and of course the pumpkin waffle, which comes with the MOST amazing chai butter.

All the pre prepared food was tasty. I would go back. Everything was gluten free. Nice industrial coffee shop vibe. The sun dried tomato pasta and the Allison’s breakfast were nice.

Always good food. They have everything in their choice case labeled. With things that are just gluten free or also dairy free and some also soy free. So nice to be able to have dessert.

I don't personally have Celiac's, but my girlfriend does and was with me for this trip.

Great food, fantastic coffee, wonderful baked goods, very friendly staff, and reasonable prices. One of the staff brought us mini cupcakes as a taster while we were enjoying our coffee and sweets after our meal, and explained to us that all of their products except for the carrot cake are gluten free, all of the gluten flour is kept completely separate from the rest, and all separate equipment is used when making gluten products. Enjoyable vibe, cute place.

Reliable gluten free cafe. Loads of salads and vegan options that are gluten free plus a wide variety of gluten free and vegan baked goods. There is a homemade granola, a tofu veggie scramble and delicious gf vegan pumpkin waffles which we order every time we visit. Excellent coffee and loose leaf teas too.

Definitely safe for GF, but not tasty. Desert was was delicious!

Went today with my sister. Everything was labeled with gluten free and some items were vegan also. We shared a Gf pumpkin waffle, GF lemon poppyseed coffee cake, and GF fritter. Loved all the food and their coffee was delicious also!!!!!

Stopped here on our way back to Minnesota. Wow such a great place. Loved the atmosphere and decor. And loved the food. It was so nice to get good gluten free food let alone good vegan gluten free food. My son and I were so happy to find a safe place to eat! We had the pumpkin waffles for breakfast my daughter had the Jasmine rice pudding and we bought stuff to go!!

Amazing GF Pumpkin Waffles. Friendly staff. Have Celiac, and have never gotten sick after eating there.

Had the delicious Ginger Cookie! They are really good about cleaning and wiping everything down in the kitchen as wheat flour is used in one dish. Staff are friendly and attentive. Ate the giant cookie with no reaction and I have Celiac.

Great place with really good food, but all their stuff is in a display case and they put the crumbly desserts with gluten above all the gluten free stuff.

Everything in bakery/cafe was gluten free except the carrot cake which was in the same case. The food is all vegan and mostly dairy free. The food was bland we liked the apply berry tart thing. Otherwise we didn't care for the food. If you like tofu and vegan food this would be the place for you.
