This place is one of my favorites!
it was delicious. we had chips and guac and I had the scallops and shrimp dish.
Lots of gfree options. Staff were knowledgeable and I did not get sick. The beef taquito's were the bomb! #sensitiveceliac
Delicious! Lots of great, fresh prepared options. A must stop while in Vegas. Everything is good. Have eaten here many times. Staff is very knowledgable as well.
The food was awesome the first time we went but i think i got a small hit the second time.
Fresh quality food. Lots of GF options.
Was excited for this restaurant and it really was delicious food. Menu has gf next to items but my server was not knowledgeable or concerned about me having celiac. I asked about the chips they bring with the gf guacamole as they appeared fried. He said they were preprepared at an outside facility so he didn't know how they were cooked but said "we've never had trouble with them." When I attempted to ask further about the menu he said if it says gf it's gluten free. I had shrimp and scallops which were delicious but made me sick so I guess as I've learned the hard way before a gf menu does not guarantee anything.
Lots of options, staff was friendly and helpful. Had some great fish tacos and some super yummy cocktails. Their normal menu has the gf options on it which I like. I hate having to ask for a separate menu.
The menu has "GF" next to all items that are gluten free, so it's easy to pick something quickly. If say 75% of the menu was GF! My wife loved the yucatan pork. Not too pricey either.
Had a wonderful experience! Staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful. Had a huge selection of GF options and three of the dishes I tasted were fantastic. Would highly recommend and return to this restaurant whenever I'm in town.
Had a really great lunch here. Lots of gluten free items on the menu that were actually labelled GF. Love that. I ordered the carnitas tacos and they were delicious! A little heavy, but had great flavor. It came with rice and beans too. I also ordered the blood orange refresher lemonade and that was delicious too. The free chips and salsa were great, and it was fun to try the 3 different flavors of salsa. I'd definitely go back here! Our waitress was super friendly and so knowledgable about the menu. I felt confident that she'd make sure my meal was gluten free. The whole experience was wonderful, and I'm sure the other GF items on their menu will be tasty too!
Our last night in Las Vegas, we decided to take a stroll over to Mandalay Bay and have dinner at Border Grill. This place was highly recommended on the gluten free sites and showed on their website to have a dedicated gluten free menu, so needless to say I was pumped to check it out. The hostess was not very friendly. I gotta say that I am a stickler for happy, positive employees because they are the face of your business and crucial to customer satisfaction. I was pleased to see such a large gluten free menu until I opened it and realized 2 of the pages were filled with alcohol choices. We decided to try the Queso Fundido, which they brought out with corn tortillas and the chips are gluten free there. The dip was pretty tasty for sure but it didn't knock my socks off. Our waiter was aware of celiac disease and gluten free preparations so that made me feel at ease too during our time there. I ordered a shrimp and rice which came out on a plate filled with rice and then a strip of shrimp down the middle. The rice was in a pool of liquids making it a bit soggy. I have to say that I can't stand wet rice so I just ate the rice off the top and picked at the shrimp. The dish was disappointing and I didn't leave there feeling like I had an amazing gluten free dish coming from somewhere that specifically has a gluten free menu. The cost of my 10 small shrimp and rice was also $28 which I found to be completely out of line for the quality of the dish. Now, had that dish come out and completely wowed me, I wouldn't blink at spending $28 on vacation in Las Vegas for dinner. It just didn't do it for me so I can tell you I won't likely go back on my trip to Las Vegas next year. I would recommend Border Grill because they are educated and understand gluten free meals but I'm not sure it would be my first pick for someone. It's the safe choice.
Have never had a bad meal. All the servers are knowledgeable. Go on a weekend for their brunch menu so you can try different items. My favorite place in Vegas!
Great knowledgeable servers who educated me about what I could eat on the menu. She explained in detail which items were for those with Celiac disease (myself), gluten sensitive and those just avoiding gluten. Those with Celiac can't have the tortilla chips since they share the same fryer of glutinous foods but they brought me warmed corn tortillas with the salsa that is safe. I had the carne asada, tinga pollo and any quesadilla can be prepared for those with Celiac. I haven't felt sick since my visit which is great! There's a large selection of food to choose from that was delicious and the staff was very knowledgable! Highly recommend if you are in the area! The happy hour was also great having the tacos for $3.50/each and $5 margaritas.
Excellent. Many gluten free items. I think but am not certain that the chips are also gluten free, but I have never gotten sick there. Make sure you tell the waitress that you are allergic, and I always (in all restaurants) tell them to write it on the ticket to make sure the chef knows. Also, do that because some dishes can be made gluten free which requires different tortillas, etc. so you need to tell them. Bartender Victor is great, if by yourself or with a friend, consider eating at the bar. There Tequila selection is numerous as well. Enjoy.
