I tend to need extra assurance that precautions are being made. I think this place is so used to having celiac or allergy customers that they might not get that. I asked for the server to speak with the kitchen staff about my needs for gloves change, fresh utensils and fresh batch of anything that might’ve been cut on shared surfaces. He assured me he would put the note “hospital allergy “ and that all would be taken care of. So, if you’re like me and need extra assurances, don’t be afraid to speak up about it. Every menu item I had was so good here. There’s a blanket surcharge of 2% on your entire bill for some reason. I asked about it and the server removed it. Weird! Super friendly staff.

Always love eating here. Inform server of gluten allergy and they take special precautions and hook you UP!

We’ve eaten here a couple of times and each time I’ve gotten the gluten free French toast and haven’t gotten sick once! It tastes amazing and they are really good about ensuring no cross contamination. Would highly recommend!

Family of 7 went none of us are GF except my son. My teenage son had their GF Cinnamon Raisin French Toast and Jurassic Pork both were so yummy! He cleared his plates and he did not get sick! We did tell the waiter the GF was do to a health condition and he noted it on the order. I am always hesitant trying new places with him because his reaction is so severe and he reacts within an hour but after the other reviews we felt it’s worth a try. It did not disappoint.

I ordered the chilequiles, awesome treat that I don’t usually get to have. Had an adaptogenic antioxidant shot before eating and it not too strong. The breakfast potatoes were nice and crispy (which I love). Didn’t get sick afterwards, so it was safe.

Food was pretty good! I just had a basic omelet with gluten free toast. I asked for it to be untoasted to limit the risk of the bread being toasted in a contaminated toaster. The staff was happy to make accommodations for my severe allergy.

The Chilaquiles and gluten free cinnamon bread French toast were very good. Both are marked as GF on the menu. There are several other GF options available. Very tasty and fresh. Enjoy! They have multiple locations.

Server was unsure what was celiac safe or not. Really nice guy but just reiterated that the kitchen just wasn’t safe for celiacs.
I appreciated the transparency but was bummed not to be able to eat.
FYI — served told me the house hot sauce was NOT gluten free and was unsure about ketchup

My daughter’s favorite for breakfast. A lot of GF options including fresh levain sourdough which doesn’t affect me and is always a nice option if you can tolerate it. Service is always good. Wasn’t a fan of the turkey meatloaf hash. But everything else I’ve had is good. A little pricey by average for San Diego I suppose.

A fun little breakfast chain - We went to the location in Mission Beach. I wasn’t completely convinced the waiter knew what the issues I described were but I took a chance on one of the scrambles. I explained the toast issue and he offered to bring me a plate of tomatoes instead. I didn’t get sick and my mashed potato/egg dish was great!
