We are on a holiday in Pacific Beach looking for a breakfast place. we find This. Although, the staff are aware of celiac customers, I’ll say the kitchen staff isn’t. I came in asking questions about GF options and waitstaff said,”celiac?, I’ll make sure the kitchen knows”. My order comes out with toast, white bread toast. I question if it’s the GF multigrain. The expeditor goes back to kitchen and come back, “oh yes it’s GF”. I get sick a few hours later. A few days later we come back to try again and can be a bit more limiting in my choices. Again, I tell waitperson of celiac and he understands. Ask about bread and how they toast it. He looked at me and said, in the toaster. Well then i ask how do the cooks treat “special orders? Do the cooks wipe down or use separate utensils?”. Wide eyed blank stare. Although it was a great place for my family, I’ll say they have no safety measures in their kitchen
