Knowledgeable staff. The pizza was okay, but the crust made a squeaky noise when we chewed. They do offer good GF beer.
they have both gluten free pizza and beer! omission beer tastes just like regular beer and the pizza is spooky good.
Great gluten free pizza! They have a separate menu that lists what ingredients are GF and which aren't so you can build your own pizza!
The best restaurant gf pizza I've had. The Quattro formaggio has a thin, crispy crust and it's cooked in its own pan to avoid cross contamination. The arugula and pear salad was fantastic. Loved this meal!
Awesome pizza!!! And they seem to understand cross contamination so they are very careful with Gf!!!
Great gluten free pizza. And they made us gluten free pita chips for our artichoke dip too! And gluten free beer and cider! Had a wonderfully safe and delicious meal.
Have eaten gf Pizza there many times. Very good! They even make a gf s'mores pizza that is fantastic!
Great service but not very good gluten free crust. I've had better gluten free pizza elsewhere in the area
Sorry to have to report, but I had a reaction after eating at this restaurant. I told the waiter I had an issue with gluten and was told not to worry. They put the pizza in an aluminum pan. This was the only thing I had to eat and had water to drink. Left the restaurant and was to go to a movie with my husband but had to go home and be sick the rest of the night . Not happy .
Gluten free pizza crust for extra charge, which is fine because after 10pm every day they do buy one get one free pizza and appetizers. When you order the GF crust it's placed inside a separate cooking tin so that it won't be contaminated by the other wheat based crusts on the pizza oven. And I'm sure that like most GF bread products it can be hit or miss but the pizza ingredients are top notch and service is usually excellent. My pizzas were great and they even have my favorite ciders that I enjoyed while my friends had their beers. I highly recommend it.
It was the first time that I tried gluten free/dairy free pizza. It came on a special pan, the toppings were really yummy and it had enough "cheese". It was reasonably priced, and the server took pride in the product that he brought out. Of course it is not the real thing, but it is not worth getting sick just for a taste of real pizza. Having mentioned the big S word, I did not have any reaction whatsoever.
I had the GF Chicken Florentine and it was pretty good. It comes on its own metal serving tray I'm guessing so there is no cross contamination in the oven. The crust edges were dark brown but the centers of the slices were "floppy" and not toasted. The toppings are good but the bacon stands out-salty good! The wait staff is great! I also had the nut torta. It was a bit dry but everything really tastes better with Nutella!
I was so, so excited to find out that Brixx had gluten-free pizza! I was also very excited to find that my order came out in it's own pan to avoid any cross-contamination, and there were so many options to pick from in terms of toppings and seasonings. It was one of the best gluten-free pizzas I've had in a long time.
My roommate has celiac's and she doesn't normally even care for pizza, but she loves the pizza from Brixx. If you're looking for something cheap and delicious, it's definitely the place to go. The only complaint we have is on the busy nights it tends to get very crowded and loud, but the food and the service are both fabulous.
Good selection. Didn't make me sick and that's a rarity
I love their pizzas!! Every pizza can be ordered on GF crust but some toppings are more subject to cross contamination. They're really good about knowing which ones. I always order them well done because it helps the gluten free pizza dough bake through all the way to the middle. Also, their salad dressings are safe too. The Mediterranean salad is so good and I've added grilled chicken to make it a dinner. There are plenty of options on their menu...even beer. Update: I keep getting sick here. I think that the cross contamination is too severe for celiacs. This place would still be good for someone living the GF lifestyle but not for allergies, acute intolerance, or celiacs.
I think they understand what I would call "gluten-light" versus the type of gluten free required for celiacs at this particular location. An order of a side salad without croutons came home with a big hunk of bread in it, rendering it inedible for me. Celiacs should be vigilant and check orders before heading home.
Very pricey & flavorless, always-undercooked crust. They do cook the pizza on a stainless steel plate, but they don't use a screen or separate prep area to help prevent contamination while cooking. Great effort on their part, quality toppings & totally fine for most intolerants, but not good for severe celiacs.
I ate off of the gluten free menu and definitely had gluten in my entree. Luckily, I tried it before taking my kids there. We won't be going back.
The gluten free pizza is awesome! I will continue to go back.
Great GF pizza!!! Very knowledgeable
The wait staff knows their stuff. If you have a GF menu on the table, they caution you about anything that might be suspect. I haven't had the GF dessert, but am impressed that they have one. The 1/2 pizza & salad lunch deal is not offered GF, though I haven't tried it with another person ordering the same pizza.
Twice I have ordered a gluten free pizza to go from here and twice I have been given a gluten pizza. The second time my reaction was so bad, if I could have gotten to my phone I would have gone to the hospital. When I emailed them, I was sent a blow off email. No mention of re-training the staff, emphasizing the importance of gluten-free, etc. You could not pay me to go here again.
I love brixx! They have the best GF crust in the business in my opinion and offer the vegan cheese my stomach requires. This is my favorite place to grab a slice without a doubt!
