Spoke with employee, they use same fryer and waffle iron so not celiac/allergy safe

Amazing GF fried chicken and waffle! Flavorful, not dry. Enjoyed the food here! The fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious as well. Did not disappoint!

not a lot of gluten free options but most of the waffle options could be adapted to gluten free as they have a gluten free waffle. The coffee was good. Portions were verging on the too big. Price around 20 dollars for most menu items.

As someone is Hashimotos this was and absolutely wonderful spot the gluten free chicken and waffles were amazing and I had no reaction. As others have stated this is a shared kitchen so if you are sensitive to cross contamination this might not be the spot for you.

Amazing that this restaurant still has 3 stars on FMGF. To continue to reiterate previous reviewers comments...this is NOT A GLUTEN FREE ESTABLISHMENT. Their GF waffles are catered to the lovely population of Angelinos who are scared that gluten will cause them to gain a couple pounds. If you have a wheat allergy or celiac disease, you will get sick eating waffles here, 100% guaranteed.
If you aren't allergic to wheat or do not have celiac, I'd highly recommend eating here! I remember my pre-celiac disease days, and the chicken & waffles was delicious.

Not safe. Not gluten free. What a joke. All celiacs avoid!

Super disappointing. Drove for an hour to have gf chicken and waffles and they aren't actually gf :(
Same waffle iron for gf and regular. Got very sick

Shared frier with all that evil gluten floating around. I got sick. 😩

Amazing! I just ate the best gf waffles which were made from potatoes and garbanzo beans. Super friendly staff and environment. I will be back for sure!

NOT for celiacs!!!!! Do not even think of eating here if you have celiac disease -- they have shared waffle irons for the regular and the gluten free waffles meaning they're not safe for celiacs: but they won't tell you that unless you ask. If you're gluten-free because you just like being gf, by all means chow down. But gluten free SHOULD mean safe for celiacs. Here it's just lip-service. They should take it off their menu and should be ashamed for themselves for everyone they make sick.

I got sick from their gluten free waffles. I told them I am a Celiac and they acted like they understand what that meant and what needed to be done to keep me safe. They were very nice and the waffles were yummy but it was not worth being sick for months.
***Not for Celiacs***
Excellent chicken and waffles!!! Unfortunately, they do not have dedicated fryers or waffle irons (which they were very upfront about this). I was hesitant, but took a risk. It was amazing, and I was fortunate not to have a reaction.
I don't understand why they couldn't have a dedicated waffle iron. The place is somewhat small, so I understand not being able to accommodate a dedicated fryer.
Food: 5 stars!!!
Ambiance: 3 stars
No dedicated waffle iron: 1 star

Called them and they said they use the same waffle irons for both gluten free and non gluten free waffles, meaning they don't understand anything about cross contamination but are more than happy to call it gluten free to get your money. Places like this should be closed down.

Great gluten-free waffles -- but it is a shared cooking space, so bring your gluten-catching pills just in case. Anyway, yummy food and friendly service make this a place I'll be visiting regularly.
