Manager came to table, told her I had Celiac, she handled Order and insured my order was prepped as safe as possible To avoid cross contamination. Dedicated fryer for fries.

Our waitress was knowledgeable of cross contamination and if she wasn’t sure, she went back to the kitchen to ask. We got the chips and queso appetizer which was gluten free. I got the green chili queso burger on the gluten free bun without the tortilla strips. Side salad without croutons. Fries are in a shared fryer so not celiac friendly. Very cute place !

I’d rate this place as a 3.5 The waitress was knowledgeable about what I could/could not eat and steered me away from those items.

They do NOT have a dedicated frier. Do NOT get the fries, they are beer battered. The sweet potato fries are gluten free but not celiac safe due to the fryer.

They do have side salads (ask for no croutons). I got a burger and it was very good. The bread is Udi’s.

Just let them know it is a severe allergy and ask them to guide you through the menu!

Our waitress was very informative about what was or wasn't gluten free. Had chips and salsa and the chicken taco salad, without the bowl. Was very good!

The manager was very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. We got the burgers - seasoned with just salt and pepper on an Udi’s bun. They were cooked on clean pans in a separate area of the kitchen. We also got a side salad instead of fries. We were told the fries and corn chips were fried in a separate fryer, but it was right next to the fryer that contained wheat, so she said it’s possible wheat accidentally could get into the fries fryer.

Five stars for the gluten free burger. They suggested I not eat the fries because of cross contamination but you can upgrade to salad. Upgrading the bun to gluten free and the fries to salad will make for a pricey burger. But it was really good. I’d eat it again and had zero reaction.

Great service by our waiter on a busy Saturday night. We sat outside and enjoyed music on the patio. As a Celiac celebrating a milestone birthday, I emailed the restaurant days before our arrival to ask many questions. They were helpful and honest.

Fries are not safe as they share fryers but the chips are (fried 1st thing in the AM before anything else goes into the fryer). Had a simple burger on a gluten free bun with chips and quac.

Overall a great meal and best part was not getting sick!

I really appreciated that my waiter went to find out if the fryer was cross contaminated today. I love that the kitchen is honest. I was not able to have fries, but I didn't even miss the fries. I had the burger on gf bun. Sooooo yummy. I'd much rather have a honest kitchen staff than getting sick.

Very frustrating! The answer I got was that they "we are not gluten free today". They just opened and I wanted to know if it was fresh oil for the fries and they would only repeat "we are not gluten free today"

Don't let the reviews trick you they are only dedicated gluten free at their convenience they cross contaminate their fryers so make sure you ask was so excited after reading good reviews to have a French fry only to be told they got busy and weren't gluten free today

Great burger with a good gluten free bun that held together and REALLY good fries made in a dedicated fryer. Will definitely come here the next time I'm in Fredericksburg.

We had a nice server, who was willing to ask questions and help me to dine safely. I had a delicious cheeseburger on a gf bun, side salad with ranch and no croutons (subs from fries since not cooked in dedicated oil) and chips and guac. It was great!

I was diagnosed with Celiac about 4 years ago. I have not been able to enjoy a burger with a bun that didn't fall apart since then, until today! Burger Burger has delicious burgers. My family enjoyed the gluten burgers and fish sandwich. the manager said that the fries are usually fried in a GF fryer, but you will need to double check each time you dine. I was worried about cross contamination. The manager double checked on my order for me and assured me I was safe. I did not get sick and I enjoyed my meal!

They were very nice about making sure my food was gluten free. First time in years I had a hamburger and fries in a restaurant with my kids and it tasted amazing! The staff was very friendly too! I will definitely make this my place to stop when I am down that way!

The sweet potato fries are NOT gluten free. We had a little mix up but they caught the error before I ate any so I give them lots of credit for catching the mistake and owning it.

They also use a separate fryer for the gluten free stuff!

Incredibly delicious!!! My server was very attentive and easy to talk to about all things gluten free. It is so nice to be taken seriously. I ordered a burger without a bun, and it was so good, I didn't miss the bun.

Awesome food. I wanted gf, but to still have a taste of Germany. I got the German sausage with sauerkraut a la carte to share with my husband (normally served with burger) and it was super satisfying. They have a great grilled cheese which they allowed me to substitute with a GF bun. My husband got regular food and loved it as well.

I was diagnosis with Celiac in June 2015. Since then I have yet to find a gluten free bun that is edible. I would normal take the gf bun off and eat what was just left of the hamburger. Well today that changed. I actually ate my whole burger!!! It was amazing! Our waiter was super nice too.
