Burntwood Tavern

This review is for the Cuyahoga Falls, OH location. They have a small, maybe 8-item, menu. The hand cut fries are listed on GF menu, however, the waitress stated that they don't use a GF-designated fryer on all days of the week. I was there at 9pm on a Saturday and they did not have the dedicated fryer. I asked for subs and settled on steamed vegetable. The waitress was very helpful with asking the kitchen what was or wasn't ok. I did not have a Celiac reaction afterwards with the steak and pecan salad I ate.

They have no gluten free menu currently

Their gf menu has items on it that are not gf. It says you can habe fries and chips but there fryer is not gf. Very limited options. I got sick on hummus and a salad.

When I asked for their gluten-free menu, I was given their "gluten friendly" list. One item on the list had fries. I asked the waiter just in case, who explained to me that it was not a designated fryer. He was also surprised to hear that someone could be that sensitive to gluten. Their other style potato was also deep fried. So. I had a double serving of veggies instead. The food was very good, but I'm giving them 3 stars for their understanding of gluten issues.

Very unaccommodating to celiac disease! I asked the waitress to ask the kitchen staff what that they can make that would accommodate my celiac. Waitress came back and clearly didn't ask the kitchen staff and told me, "I don't know, veggies?" Very rude and didn't care for my business. I will NOT be back. I’m reacted to my dinner of salmon and veggies too.

The menu is not marked. I asked the waitress if they have a gf menu and she said no, we don’t have many gf options. I got a wedge salad and it was very small and unsatisfying. Do not recommend!
