I had an unpleasant experience at the Westford location. I had asked for my steak to be cooked medium And I received a rare one. I cut the steak in 3 pieces And enjoyed my sides waiting for the server to check back in. The manager Jennifer took my plate Back to the kitchen. Nothing really out of the ordinary up to this point. For my surprise she brought back the same 3 pieces of steak I had cut and touched with my fork while I was enjoying the sides. When I asked my server if they had the habit to repurpose food from clients table back on the grill, she said she was going to call the manager. I watched them talk for a while and my server came back to explain they have a separate oven where they ”heat up” the food that has been out at people‘s table. I told her I used to be a server at Burtons in Nashua and the protocol was always to throw the food out. I could tell she was uncomfortable and watched her once again go talk to her manager, who was too busy eating at a few tables away and didn’t make an effort to come back to our table. I know for a fact my saliva was on that steak she took and threw it in the oven. I can’t think of another word other than disgusting for the experience I had and what I learned today.
