Review of Cafe Desta

We used to eat here often, before our kid was diagnosed with celiac disease, because the food is delicious and they have a lot of vegan dishes (the Vegan Signature Plate is AMAZING!) When we go with her now , we get gf injera, plus they told us that every vegan item they have is gf; I asked about the baskets they use to bring the injera pieces to the table, and I was assured that they get put in a dishwasher after every customer/meal. I feel pretty confident that they are doing their best to avoid cross contamination, one of the few places in Tucson where we can eat vegan and celiac-safe food now!
