They appeared to be gluten friendly. I spoke to the manager and told her I was a Celiac. She guided m to gluten free menu items and promised me the chef would be careful to avoid cross contamination.
I got glutened anyway!!

I’ve eaten here many times and never gotten sick. I follow their gluten free menu recommendations and also alert the staff that I have celiac disease when ordering. The staff always seems knowledgeable and helpful.

The food is always fresh and delicious! The staff is nice and even put an alert on my ticket about gluten! Highly recommend
This is a great café with wonderful tasty food. I had their “Original Yumm Bowl” Delicious! Will definitely be back.

Great gluten free food!

Great yumm sauce! Lots of allergy safe foods for many allergies.

I needed some food on-the-go, and happened to be at Target nearby. I remembered friends mentioning this place, checked this handy app, and it looked safe. I had the original bowl, and added chicken. I also bought a packet of the crunchy noodles - they seem to be the same product I've purchased at Whole Foods before, just with a Cafe Yumm label.
I've had celiac disease for years, but don't eat out much. I never thought to ask about the chicken in tacos at places like Baja Fresh and Koi Fusion, but after getting sick after eating both, learned that the chicken is often marinated in soy sauce, and therefore not gluten free. Whoops.
When I asked about the chicken, the gal ringing me up wasn't sure, and asked her co-worker. He said the original chicken was gluten free, but that there was another kind of chicken that wasn't. He then directed her to a binder where she could find this information. So it's good to know that exists. I'm glad I asked. I'll definitely return to this place next time I'm in a pinch and need some fast food on-the-go.

I had the original bowl, it was very good. The staff is aware of celiac and the need of not cross contamination. My husband, who is not celiac, had the gluten free turkey sandwich which was also very good. Very clean restaurant and great staff
Yes
Gluten free bowls of Yumm! I had a bowl full of rice, beans, Yumm sauce, avocado, olives, tomato and chicken. Healthy and delicious! I was told they were prepared in a separate part off the kitchen with clean gloves and while cross contamination is a possibility they work really hard to avoid it.
Yes
Went in to order, asked if the sauce was gluten free and explained that I have Celiac. Was told that it is but that there was no way they could guarantee that there would be no cross contamination.

I’ve been eating here consistently for over a year, and have never experienced a problem. I’m pretty sensitive, and so far, no issues. A great option for healthy take out. Whole, filling options for carnivores, and vegans alike, too.

I used to be able to go here. Unfortunately, the last two times I have tried to eat here I have gotten next level sick from their food, in the middle of my work day.
I should have known the last time I ordered. I placed my typical order with all the noted allergies vegan, and no Yumm Sauce and the order came out with Yumm Sauce on top. I took it back and they said they would remake it but did not want to remake the order or confirm the allergies (since that is easier tha explaining celiac). I insisted and mentioned that the reason for my insistence was that cross-contamination or a lack of glove change and preparation precaution would lead to a reaction for me. They clearly did not understand or take precautions.
I was sick within the next hour and then for the next week.
Sad to say I will not eat here again. It isn’t worth it.

So delicious and wonderful! I got the medium original bowl without sour cream and cheese, as I am dairy free too. She asked if I wanted cabbage and carrots, so I said yes to that! Special tray for prep, saw them using a disposable cup to scoop ingredients, marked my ticket as a gluten allergy, AND verbally told staff. Soooo good safe and feeling great. Just go online and google “gluten free cafe yumm” and there’s a whole article on the website to help you out. Go!
