The server was knowledgeable and listed off the items you can’t eat on the menu like crouton, etc. I had no problems from eating there.

Called ahead to let them know I have Celiac and asked about their GF options and if they are careful with cross contamination. They said of course and most of the items on the menu could be made gluten free. Went there with expectations of safety a d pretty good food. Besides the food being not great but decent (I got the pesto salmon over cauliflower risotto), I had a severe reaction the following day. I am a newly dx-ed celiac but this was clearly a reaction to gluten contamination. I would be nervous to come here again.

Waitress was very knowledgeable about gf options. The fried appetizers are fried in the same fryer so be careful about that. I had the short ribs with polenta and green beans which was delicious. Many menu items can be prepared gluten free. Also they have Citizens Cider which is a favorite!

Half the menu had stars stating could be made gf. But it couldn’t. Waiter was great!

Had GF pasta with red with red sauce. No issues. Lots to offer

Tried this place based on the reviews from this app. Waitress was good in her knowledge. Their GF menu offered fries HOWEVER, they do not have a dedicated fryer. Otherwise food was good, I did not get sick so that’s a huge plus. They even had a couple desserts that weren’t just ice cream. I didn’t try them but it was nice to know they were offered. They also offered GF bread while waiting for our meals, which was nice since others at the table had bread to start. If I’m traveling back this way I would eat there again.

Canoe is amazing! The new renovation is beautiful, there’s a dedicated gf menu as well as extreme precautions taken by the staff to ensure a safe uncontaminated experience. Thank you to Taylor the hostess for being so accommodating.

I have been here multiple times and the staff is very knowledgeable and very meticulous about allergies. They have a gluten free menu and the staff is there to help you with any questions or requirements you have. Ask for Taylor the hostess! They also recently renovated and the place is beautiful!!!! 2 floors - 2 bars. They carry Tito’s & other gluten free alcohols.
