Dedicated GF kitchen and fryer! Excellent food and service! Highly recommend for dinner with GF menu, kid’s menu, and a menu for everyone else. I had a Rueben with GF bread and GF fries! It was so good! Of course they are knowledgeable as they do have a kitchen dedicated to GF.

Iverall a great experience. There was a variety of items to choose from on the GF menu. Everything came out marked with an allergy stick, GF rolls, salad, and entree. Felt really safe eating here!

This restaurant made me feel so included. I went for a work dinner and normally I feel weird asking for gluten free options, but since they had a separate menu and even gave me my own gluten free appetizer rolls it was perfect! They had the appetizer marked with a toothpick that it was made with my allergy in mind and even had an AMAZING gluten free desert!

SO GOOD!! You must go if you are in the Columbus area. Very nice place, has gluten free menu, and waiter asked if it was an allergy. They have gluten free breakfast rolls (tasted like a cinnamon bun!). I ordered the 4 egg omelet and it was delicious. The potato’s were also the best potato’s I have ever had. Food was also marked with allergy.

This place was great for my son who has celiac. The waitress was very knowledgeable and said they make everything separately along with a separate fryer. She even came out with gluten free rolls with cinnamon. My son got the BLT on a gluten free bun.

Best gluten free menu I have seen yet. Have many options and great kids gluten free menu for my 9yr old with Celiac disease. Even have gluten free little dinner rolls which is wonderful so he does not have to go without what he sees others have. The gluten fish or chicken and chips are awesome. Services at both locations in Columbus excellent. Highly recommend it and I rarely take time to do a review but I was so excited by Cap City’s gluten free choices I made the time.

Aug 5, 2018. My wife and I are back in Columbus. Another great meal (read my comments below). Wife had GF fish and chips and I had the GF Ruben sandwich. The Ruben came on their homemade hamburger bun, but the bun was delicious and so was the sandwich. I really like this chain of restaurants for GF eating in the Columbus area.

Dec 18, 2018. My wife and I went back for a second meal. This time I had the GF Philly Cheese steak sandwich with a wild rice salad and GF fries. The meal was delicious yet again. One interesting thing that I hadn't noticed during our visit the prior day was that they also have a dedicated kids (under 12) GF menu. Really cool.

Dec 17, 2018. I always say that the best GF meals are the ones where I can order almost anything off the menu and it taste good without me getting sick. The Cap City Fine Diner is one of those places. Fantastic gluten-free meal. My wife and I enjoy sharing our meals with each other. In most establishments, this means that she has to eat a subpar meal. This was not the case with the meals on their GF menu. She ordered the pecan-crusted pork chops with cheddar chipotle mashed potatoes. I ordered the beer battered (Red Bridge GF beer) fish and chips from a GF frier. Both meals were absolutely great. For dessert, we had the peppermint bark cheesecake. I posted their GF menu and I'm posting pics of our meals. Wow.

Dined here and had the fish and chips. I never get to eat any fried food due to most restaurants not having a dedicated separate fryer for gluten free foods. They were amazing!! Server was extremely knowledgeable and guided me away from even the GF items that could trigger some of my unique sensitivities. The manager was also knowledgeable about celiac and was very attentive to my needs. I was very impressed and would make the hour-plus trip again for their great food and service. What a treat to dine out and feel completely safe!

we went for lunch and it was fantastic. we had the chips with cheese and the calamari appetizers. both were wonderful. I had the gf fish and chips and my husband had the rueben. it was great and I highly recommend this place.

I have celiac disease and hardly ever eat out because I am so afraid of getting sick, but my husband and I decided to try Cap City last night. After being assured that there would be no cross contamination by a very knowledgable staff, I found a non-gf noodle hiding under my fish after eating half of my meal. I understand that mistakes happen but this means that there was no protocol being followed at all. This is unacceptable and I don't think that it is a safe place for celiacs if this kind of mistake can happen.

I forget if it's the head chef or the manager but one of them has a daughter who has celiac so the whole staff is VERY knowledgeable (I can't say the same for the Olentangy location) Wonderful service and amazing food.., I've tried just about everything on the menu and haven't found anything I don't like (hint there are some things on the kids menu not in the adult menu that they will make adult portions for you if you ask... Chicken Romano is AMAZING) Also if you call 48+ hrs ahead of time and know you'll want something gf not on the menu they will find a way to make it gluten free for you while you're there. The gf peanut butter pie is famous too so make sure to save room for desert!

Dinner came with fluffy cinnamon buns, so delicious I had to ask if they were gluten free.

We had a great experience here. My daughter who is gluten sensitive loved the cheesy potato chip appetizer. She ordered a Cesar salad with grilled Chicken and was excited when they brought out a basket of gluten free rolls. All the food we ordered was delicious.

This place is amazing I went with a friend for her birthday and was expecting not to have anything to eat but they had asked if anyone was gluten free and said I was they gave me a whole gluten free menu. Also waiter told the cooks it was allergy so there was no cross contaminated and food tasted so good also they have a gluten free desert that changes each day that’s a chef’s special and it was cheesecake and it tasted sooo good I’ve never had a better cheesecake.!!
