They have a gluten free section of their menu but not all gluten free items are on it yet. The chef came out to our table and helped me order. And they are also able to modify other menu items to make it gluten free. Will be back!!

I love this app for finding places while traveling. Carmel’s was great. I was given an iPad to make choices and chose the polenta and ribs, not a common choice at a chain restaurant. The side salad I ordered was not on the iPad but was gf according to wait staff. Will look for this chain in Florida

Feel safe here! Called ahead as I always do, make sure they really do take it seriously. Asked if I would be allowed to have one of the experienced staff take my order, told no problem. The have a special iPad with pictures and descriptions of gluten free menu. Food was delicious, manager came over assured me all would be well, and it was. Delicious meal, you can always tell when you’re in a well run business. Taylor our waitress was spectacular. Told them about the app, they didn’t know about it.

Glutened here tonight. Long story short – they served me the wrong food, confirmed it was GF when it wasn’t, and then tried to hide it.

I ordered the “Pesto Chicken Alfredo Pasta” off of the gluten free menu and asked our waitress to inform the kitchen of my food allergy. When delivered, I confirmed with both the food runner and our waitress that the dish was gluten free. After beginning to eat, I didn’t feel quite right. I checked again with the waitress, and she took the plate back to the kitchen to verify. When she returned, she explained that they “could not confirm by looking at it” that the dish was GF, and that the kitchen wanted to remake the dish just to be sure. The asst. manager then returned with a replacement plate with very different pasta. After a little while, I started to feel quite sick. The manager returned, and after telling him that I was sick, he admitted that the staff told him they sent out the wrong pasta. They were probably hoping to get me out of there before my symptoms got bad.

When asked about how this happened, it was explained that the chef simply misread the ticket and plated my dish incorrectly. There are not sufficient safeguards to keep people with food sensitivities safe, and therefore, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone with gluten sensitivity.

The food is yummy and I never have an issue. The gluten free section is available on their menu pads with a good selection. They use a dedicated fryer if you inform them of your allergy.
