When we sat down we asked the hostess about a gluten free menu or options and she said she would ask the manager. When the waitress came to take our drink orders she asked if we had asked about gluten free options. She told us that nothing on their menu could really be considered gluten free and they don’t really do that. She was nice but seemed annoyed at the request. I got a grilled chicken cob salad and it was pretty good and at least pretty low gluten but more than likely had some cross contamination.

server was knowledgeable and helpful. they have a gluten reduced menu but not gluten free.
No
no menu asked waitress what to order. they suggested grill wings and french fries. I asked 3x about fries to be sure they were okay. I got sick afterward because they are beer battered. Very upset with their lack of knowledge of their products.
No
They no longer have gluten free menu. Staff was not knowledgeable. Gluten free options are very limited. Staff kept saying that they couldn't guarantee that anything would be gluten free. Thus if you are super sensitive be wary of cross contamination.
Several Gluten free options. Staff wasn't sure if the chips for chips and salsa were gluten free.
Waitress was fine, I've been there twice but they don't seem to understand the severity of needing to make sure my salad has no croutons... There's not many options. Maybe 3 options? One is a salad, the others are expensive.

The waitress tried her best to make sure my meal was gluten free. Unfortunately it was not. All of the sauces are made in house, but the kitchen staff was unsure what was in it. Wouldn’t recommend

I ate here last night and ended up getting sick afterward. The staff were friendly, answered my questions, and checked on things with the kitchen. I wouldn’t say they were knowledgeable, but were willing to help. However, I still ended up not feeling well.
I got the Ribeye steak, mashed potatoes, and grilled vegetables. Based on their allergen menu, this was all no wheat, no other gluten labeled. Im not sure what went wrong, but I wont be back and I wouldn’t recommend. Nit many GF options at all.

I was excited because my waitress, when I said I have celiac disease, said they have a gluten free specialist in the house. She came over and asked me how sensitive I was to gluten - obviously I said I could have none (celiac) - and she gave me a good list of recommendations. I ended up eating the spinach dip with fresh carrots and celery as well as the salmon, which I was told both were safe. I was glutened unfortunately :( if you are going for “gluten free” this is a totally fine place to go but for gluten sensitive and definitely celiacs im not sure this is safe… I am so grateful for the waitresses who helped me but this did not work for me :/

As kind as they are, The Ale House isnt the place to go if you have celiac. I asked about gluten free and was directed towards the vegetarian options. When I explained that I was vegetarian, my wait staff went to the kitchen to ask about what I could eat. She returned and asked if I could eat pita instead of a bun. She tried, but it's clearly not the place to eat if you have any allergy.
