The menu has plenty of gluten free options, but the waiter seemed to brush off my gluten concern. I received the soup with pasta, despite requesting the pasta-free version.

It was very good! Had chicken marsala and mashed potatoes and it was delicious! Items marked. Have gf pasta that you could substitute if you wanted. Would go back for sure!

Waitstaff are very considerate and take time to ask questions to be extra helpful. The Sicilian soup can be made gluten free. The GF pasta is amazing.

My daughter got the gluten free pasta. She loved it. Almost all their sauces are gluten free. Waiter very knowledgeable, was super helpful and understanding.

My son had GF pasta with meat sauce. He loved it. We ordered to-go which always makes me nervous but we had no issues. When I called, I spoke to a super nice guy who told me they have a specific protocol to prepare GF items. Very happy with our experience. ❤

Celiac friendly?

Yes

Food was tasty for the non-Celiacs in our party. I tried my daughter's GF pasta, which she just ordered with butter and cheese and it was good. She could have ordered from a variety of other GF menu items though. Server wasn't 100% knowledgeable about GF options - he offered her a meatball and I asked him if it was for sure GF - he said he would check and come back. Sure enough, not GF. Then he asked if anyone was having dessert, so I asked if anything, especially ice cream, is GF, and he came back announcing "none of our desserts are gluten-free!" So that was a big disappointment. Overall a decent meal and nice enough server, but not wowed by the gluten-free knowledge and offerings.

The staff was nice and friendly. They took my allergy seriously. The have a button on their ordering system that automatically makes your whole order gluten free.

I've eaten here many times and feel safe enough.

I always ask for Shavon as our server. Shavon is one of the best servers anywhere! She's worked at this Carrabbas since it opened maybe 14 years ago. She is very familiar with celiac disease and is on top of it for taking care of the customer. For example, when she rings in my food, she puts the "gluten free" note like 6 times! She will also bring us our soups herself as another precaution.

Recently they changed their type of gluten-free pasta here and it's a bowtie pasta that cooks much better than the previous pasta.

A side of alfredo sauce doesn't cost extra. I sometimes ask for this for my broccoli.

Just ate here a few days ago. Very disappointed. When my plate arrived there was hardly any pasta on the plate. Maybe a quarter cup? Not cool when the entree is $24.99 for chicken. I should have said something but we waited so long for our food I didn’t want to hold up the rest of my party. They also changed the gf pasta to bowties. The other gf pasta was much better in my opinion. In addition, we watched the cook wash off the grill with pasta water. Ugh! Not sure I want to go back.

Carrabbas was one of my favorite places to eat before my celiac diagnosis. I was so excited to find out that many items on their menu are labeled gluten free. Even my favorite menu items! They did sub in gluten free pasta with their Alfredo for me and the pasta was over cooked and pasta sauce was incredibly bland BUT honestly I have never gone there for their pasta. I lean towards their steak and chicken dishes.
