Visiting the town for the night, told server about gluten allergy (celiac) and asked about options such as enchiladas (based on previous reviews which I mentioned). she said only GF option was taco salad without the shell (also a side of pinto beans) because basically everything goes in a contaminated fryer (including the vegetables in the fajitas and the refried beans, and the sauce for enchilada has wheat). Didn’t seem like there was much knowledge about what gluten was and my explanation only went so far. Relatively friendly staff though.

Update 2 hours later: definitely was glutened and currently have the gluten bloated belly to look 4 months pregnant … not a safe GF facility

If you know what to order, it’s great! I had the chicken verde enchiladas with rice and beans. No problems. Oh! And their blueberry margaritas are awesome! 😊

We went here for the first time yesterday. It was recommended by our daughter. The staff understood Gluten issues. They made sure no gluten form was used in the red sauce so I could have the enchildas. The food was delicious and neither of us got sick.

This is a typical Mexican restaurant, so if you are gluten free by choice you can opt for corn tortillas and probably have a number of choices. But if you're celiac your choices are quite limited. Having said that, I'll add that though the staff isn't knowledgeable about gluten, they will work with you. I was able to get the carne asada plate but I had to forgo the rice and beans. Instead I had their green salad without dressing using their guacamole (which is very good and safe) on the salad. They heat their corn tortillas in a slight amount of oil that they also heat flour tortillas in, so I opted to have my tortillas heated on the same grill as the meat. I ended up making carne asada tacos with the meat, salad and guacamole. They were very good and I didn't get sick.
