The place that offers gf was way in the back of the park, and closed before we found it. The other location wasn’t sure if anything was gf, so I passed. Eat early!

I am a very sensitive Celiac and had lunch and dinner at the Wild Turnip yesterday, thanks to these reviews! I had the Power Salad bowl (yummy) and the chicken tenders & sweet potato tots (good, typical park food but GF!). Highly recommend!

Be careful - the Wild Turnip is not open as late as the park itself. I was counting on being able to eat dinner here, but it was already closed.

Trying to navigate Cedar Point with 3 celiacs may sound as terrifying as Valraven, but it doesn't have to be! The Wild Turnip is (from my understanding) a dedicated GF restaurant/food stand. They serve GF chicken tenders, pizza, and sweet potato tots (no regular, non-GF ptions were listed)! They also had some yummy salads and other healthier options. The pizza tasted just like the regular junk food we all love getting at amusement parks, I was worried it would make us sick (it didnt taste GF!)but we had no problems. We ate at the Wild Turnip for lunch and dinner, got custard from the Engine Station, and didn't have any reaction to the food. I know one of the pizza places also had a GF option, but there would be a risk of cross contamination.

Overall, I was very impressed with the GF options available at Cedar Point. Their website lists all of the placed were you can get GF food (and you can look up other allergies, too). My dad, sister, and I hadn't been to Cedar Point since we were diagnosed with celiac a couple years ago, so we were thrilled that we could return and still have a blast without worrying too much about food. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try!!

The Wild Turnip is a dedicated GF/Vegan food stand in Frontier Town. I had the cheese pizza and it was pretty good. Menu had many options to choose from, but not all were available due to being early in the season. Other restaurants had GF options as well, but cross contamination was a concern due to the cafeteria style of service. I also had fresh cut fries from one of the stands—just make sure you ask if they cook anything else in the fryer because some of the stands do but others do not.

We found lots of items in the park, there's a list on their website. Felt very comfortable with what I did get. Also, check out Tomo Hibachi in Breakers for a great gf experience!

We found 2 gf places for my celiac daughter. Chick-fil-a fries and Wagon Wheel pizza. The supervisor at Wagon Wheel personally made the pizza. They first made it with pepperoni and weren't sure if it was safe, so they made a new one from scratch. They opened a new sauce and cheese so there was no cross contamination.

Disappointed. Seems to have declined. Last year (2016) there were more options. This year when asking about allergy friendly options (we are gluten, dairy and shellfish free) they gave us a list for last year that references places that no longer exist. The one place we were comfortable with before (Joe Cool Cafe) is no longer there. We were able to get fries at some places. Also got a plain hamburger patty at Jonny Rockets (no bun since they were still "out" of the gf buns). Considering we were staying on the peninsula for 5 days and there wasn't much in the park for us we had to eat outside the park often (even then the options were slim).

Bleh!! First my husband has celiac disease and was OK after eating at the park all day, however, we HAD to be diligent. The web site info is good for gluten free choices, however, the park employees working at the food stands are CLUELESS! I would highly suggest contacting food services BEFORE your visit for the GF list. Print it off and take it with you. Show it to the employees and ask to speak with a manager as necessary. The employees need better training regarding celiac disease and thankfully this is not our typical theme park experience (Hershey Park, Busch Gardens, Disney and even Kennywood were MUCH better). We had the all day Dining plan and the French fries, cheese dipping sauce and burgers (sans bun) were fine. They also have a pizza place (the Wagon Wheel) towards the back of the park that has a GF pizza. Chickies and Pete's in the park was a fantastic option as they actually knew what gluten free meant and had a listing of GF options (ask at the hostess stand). After ordering the gluten free pizza they tried to give my husband a salad with croutons 😂! Then they were going to take the croutons off of his salad. Ugh! Another employee looked at the menu when my husband asked for the gluten free options available and after looking said, "We don't have gluten free here." As if it was a menu item like pizza. Overall we LOVED the rides and had to be on our A game to keep my husband safe with celiac disease!
