Please read this review. The grilled chicken has always been marinated. The marinated is gluten free. Here i usually get the grilled chicken nuggets or the sandwich on gluten free bun with fries. I get Diet Coke or water. The fries are in separate fryer which is safe for people with celiac disease which is awesome :) I love chick fil a :)

This used to be a safe recommendation for me. But unfortunately twice now with their grilled nuggets and grilled chicken sandwich they have come back as positive for gluten on my nima sensor. I only started testing because I would occasionally feel sick after eating here. Unfortunately this seems to be the case with several Chic Fil As across the country. I no longer eat any of their grilled foods, occasionally I will come here for fries or a milkshake but the risk is just not worth it. If you truly want to go for their grilled items I would recommend checking them in the Nima sensor first, they have made items that came back negative for gluten, but other times it has been positive.

Chick-fil-A offers gluten free grilled chicken nuggets and many locations have dedicated fryers for fries. Check with your location if cross-contamination is a concern for you.
The best fast food options for the gluten free community. The staff at this location always go above and beyond to take care of dietary needs.

I heard that they are celiac-friendly and wanted a quick bite on the go. This was the first time I'd gone since my diagnosis, so I went in because I was nervous about making sure it was safe for me to have it. The person who took my order had limited knowledge, maybe a recent hire. I was glad it was not very busy, and the manager took the opportunity to explain to both of us the process. Not only they have a few gf items marked on the menu, but if you tell them you have an allergy, they make sure to alert the staff, so they clean the area, utensils and change gloves before preparing the meal. They have a separate fryer for the fries, too.

They have a separate fryer at this location for their French fries, so they are celiac-safe! Tons of great GF options for fast food. When I mentioned celiac to the person taking my order she offered to relay the message and have them change gloves! Overall was treated with kindness about my allergy (which is rare in fast food) and happy to return

5-6-24 found out the grilled chicken as YEAST EXTRACT FOR THISE THAT ARE SENSITIVE TO IT!!!!
Fries and tots are designated friers…
Went to grab dinner. Ordered one meal then said, “now this order is GLUTEN FREE DUE TO ALLERGIES” gave her my order and when I pulled to window they told me, “we wiped the counter and changed gloves before prepping your gluten free meal!”
Even though they’re always busy- it’s worth the wait knowing they take it seriously!

Here is how I order here, because with so many people and a new one each time it can be confusing but they have great protocols if you are assertive and patient. I order my food separately from my family’s (because they prefer to eat gluten here). This avoids any risk of cross contamination and one time when I specified gluten free they gave the kids grilled nuggets instead of fried. Since I have begun ordering this way I haven’t had an issue. I usually order my family’s on the app for pickup inside and then mine I order at the counter or drive thru only. I say “gluten allergy” (there is a button but sometimes they will just write it in and to change gloves), and then after they hand me my food I ask again “this is for a gluten allergy, did they change their gloves?” They usually go ask to make sure and say yes. It always takes a bit longer to get my food but I smile and am grateful and patient.
I order the grilled sandwich on a gluten free bun (comes separately and you have to put it together) and fries.
