Chipotle

The staff member who prepped my food washed their hands and changed gloves. I had to explain I had a severe gluten allergy and could only have the food from the fresh tubs. They used new spoons and I based my order off of what they have fresh. I didn’t have a reaction so they did a good job.

Went in when they first opened so I knew it wouldn’t be crowded and I would feel more comfortable asking questions. I said I had a gluten allergy (easier to say than celiac) and I asked if they could use new ingredients from the back to avoid cross contamination. I’ve heard of other people doing this and everyone says they’ll happily do this. The girl had no idea what I was talking about so she brought out the cook. He also had no idea what gluten was and no idea about cross contamination. Ended up walking out feeling very frustrated I could not believe multiple employees at a restaurant including the main cook had never heard of gluten and didn’t understand the possible contamination from the burritos

I've eaten at this location numerous times. Staff always changes gloves without complaint, carefully prepared my order, and takes any potentially cross-contaminated ingredients (such as lettuce and cheese that have been touched by gloves in previous orders) from under the cabinet. I would recommend without reservation.

Always great fresh gf food. Previously I would of said five stars- New staff is a big down grade in the service and manners department. Staff occasionally can be stubborn about changing gloves when handling non gf food. Restaurant is very clean though. Miss the old crew.

My favorite chipotle! If I order on the app, I label my meal as “name + gluten allergy”. The staff always changes their gloves before handling my bowl. I’ve never gotten sick!

We asked to eat Gluten Free. The person in charge along with line workers changed gloves, wiped surfaces, got out new serving utensils, got all fresh food needed for our orders and made our bowls. We appreciated their thoroughness and concern.

Yay for the Westview Chipotle in Frederick! I told the woman behind the counter that I have Celiac's and she immediately changed her gloves and personally handled my order thru the entire serving line.

I should have waited a few hours before giving my review. Even though the woman who served me did her best, there was still cross contamination. A couple hours later I had bloating and was running for a bathroom. Sorry but Chipotle is not Celiac Friendly.

Let me start off by saying, WOW. Never have I ever felt co fident in ordering from a non dedicated place before but they employees were EXTREMELY knowledgeable. I asked what they are gf procedures are and right away the nice employe wiped off the counter and without me having to ask he got all the ingredients fresh from the back with clean gloves and a new bowl. He was super nice and friendly, I will 100% be back here again. Seriously this is the place to go if your in the area.

I have eaten at several places of this establishment and they have always changed their gloves and utensils if you ask them to get your stuff from a fresh bin they will never had a problem at any of them but make sure you let them know.
