Ive been to many chipotles. Some are better than others. This is the best I've experienced. Not only did they change gloves and wash hands, they wiped counters and swapped out serving spoons. I wish all Chipotles were this great.

Employees have a procedure if asked for a gluten free meal, they know to replace gloves, wipe down counter and replace utensils for making the bowl. Every food item in the store is gluten free except for the tortilla for burritos and soft tacos. The fryer only cooks corn based items so the chips and hard shell tacos are safe. I've been eating there for years and it is the only place to get gluten free food quickly and conveniently.

I was only recently diagnosed, so this is all new to me. I ordered a burrito bowl (no tortilla). Very good! I told them I have a gluten allergy. They changed out all of the utensils they would use, and changed their gloves! Very much appreciated! Thank you!
Yes
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
Been here several times getting the rice bowl with chicken; the first two times I felt okay after but the last time I got super sick. Always ask them to change gloves and they are very nice about it, however, if you have celiac the risk of cross contamination is way too high. I would not recommend eating here.

We go here a lot, mostly because it's our quickest option when eating out. The risk for cross-contamination can be pretty high, but we ask them to change their gloves. I think we are even going to ask them to use foil to heat up the corn tortillas from now on. If you are super sensitive though it probably isn't the safest place to eat.

Yum, Yum, Yummy!!! Rice bowls are so delicious!! And the chips and guacamole are equally amazing!! It's all so fresh and healthy! One of my favorite Gluten Free menus!
I appreciate their variety of gluten free options. My daughter complains about the beans being spicy but she’s just a picky eater overall. She does enjoy the rice, queso, chicken, chips, etc. I like that I can get her a full kids meal here.

A manger is celiac and makes an effort however there is a lot of cross contamination and any type of veggie will have gluten contamination because the quesadillas are cut on the same cutting boards all veggies are cut on with minimal sanitizing and no discretion of which one is veggies only

Yikes. I've seen some Chipotle's that are fairly safe but today was not it. The server knew what cross contamination was, and she changed gloves, washed her hands, wiped down the counter, but while she was wiping everything down crumbs were falling back into the bins, and I was watching them serve before hand and the ladles would brush right against the tortillas before going back into the containers. It was probably right after the rush too. Didn't even bother ordering because I knew I'd be sick.

Not celiac level gluten free friendly, unable to get food from the back and don’t really understand cross contamination!
